Really good coffee, tastes great!

I love my coffee, but like most people, I mainly drink it for the energy boost. I'm a stay at home mom to a busy 4 year old, and I'm often running on less than ideal sleep. So, I drink a lot of coffee. This is some great quality coffee! I bought the "Da Bomb" and it is definitely dark and strong. My dad is pretty picky, and doesn't drink anything but the darkest coffee, even he was impressed by these k-cups. It brews well, and tastes great. Even better than some big name brands, like Folgers and Maxwell House. It definitely wakes me up as well! I don't know about 'double caffeinated', but this stuff definitely wakes you up.If you like dark roast coffee, or you're just permanently running on 4 hours of sleep (like myself), this is a great deal. You really can't be the quality for the price.I received this product for free in exchange for an honest and unbiased review.

Strong Cup Of Coffee

If you're looking for a bold dark cup of coffee this is it. For years i've enjoyed drinking the strongest and darkest coffee I could find on the market and this brew reminds me of those days. If that's what you're looking for this won't disappoint. It provides two times the caffeine as your regular cup, has a dark smooth flavor and smells good while brewing. Comes in a box with 40 single serve cups and an opening on the front for easy access. Taste is similar to strong French Roasts out there and it's good quality. It's four stars If you enjoy medium coffee, five If you want something dark. If you like strong coffee you'll love this.

Stronger than 99% of other coffee brands I've Tried for Keurig Makers

Java Factory double caffeinated Da Bomb coffee is pretty good for Keurig coffee makers. It's stronger than most brands I have tried, which is excellent. It has a nice bold flavor and good color. It's strong enough to hold up with flavored creamers, as well.I did not receive a surprise in my box of coffee.I would like to try some of the other flavors, as finding Kuerig compatible coffee pods that are strong enough for me is pretty hard. Usually Newman's Own is the only kind I will buy. But these are less expensive, and therefore a win win.

Consistently good quality coffee

My husband is really enjoying this coffee. He is a dark coffee drinker and I am a blond coffee drinker so we're going to take his opinion on this one. To me, dark roasted coffee taste a bit too earthy and burnt and this is no exception. My husband says this has a very rich flavor to it and it's smooth and not bitter. Apparently sometimes when you get into the darker roasts bitter goes along with it but he says not in this case. You also don't get any burnt notes with this particular coffee. The K-Cups work perfectly in my 2.0 and seems to give very consistent results. He really enjoys this coffee. We've tried other Java Factory coffee before and have always been pleased with the results. My favorite part is the name.

Something for Everyone

I really like these coffees, with the exception of the two flavored varieties. However, I am not a huge fan of flavored coffees to begin with, so that contributes a lot to my lack of enthusiasm for the Choconut (which tasted more like choclate and hazelnut than chocolate and coconut) and Vanilla Dream. I drink my coffee sweetened and with cream and found both of these flavors to be cloying when prepared that way. They are not "gently" flavored. But, I really liked the other, non-flavored, choices in the box. My favorite is Da Bomb which makes a beautifully dark and smooth cup of coffee. Many times dark roasts can be a bit overpowering, but this was "just right". The Smooth Caffeinator lives up to it's name; smooth and enjoyable. Likewise with Dark and Handsome. My least favorite is Wakey Wakey which I found to be a bit too weak for my liking. But, if you enjoy a very light "blonde" style of coffee, this may be to your liking.Overall, a nice variety containing choices to please various palates.

Nice flavor assortment

The k-cups functioned well, no issues with watery coffee or excess grounds, although I did occasionally notice some grounds in my cup. We received the variety pack which comes with 6 flavors: Choconut (a chocolate coconut blend has a nice chocolate flavor without being artificial), DaBomb (extra caffeinated, extra bold), Dark & Handsome (rich, dark roast), Smooth Caffeinator (smooth medium roast), Vanilla Dream (vanilla and toffee but I really only tasted a slight vanilla flavor), and Wakey Wakey (a nice smooth roast, very light). DaBomb is my husband's favorite but it's a little too strong for me but I will use it to make iced coffee. I enjoy the choconut on mornings I want something different as it taste special with some chocolate flavored stevia. My go-to is usually the smooth caffeinator. Vanilla is our least favorite and will most likely be left around for guests as we don't really care for vanilla flavored drinks. The blends are all well done and certainly a good buy for those who like a little variety but not too many crazy flavors.

This is a nice little assortment of 6 coffees to see what you ...

I appreciate the opportunity to try new coffees. This is a nice little assortment of 6 coffees to see what you like. These 2, I would purchase in the future.Smooth Caffeinator - good medium roast coffee. Not bitter at all. I liked this one.Dark and Handsome - good medium roast coffee. Not bitter at all. I liked this one. These I would not, but if you prefer light flavored coffee, you might enjoy these.Da Bomb - definitely stronger brew - but lacking the boldness that I like.Wakey Wakey - nice taste, but too light for me.Choconut - tasty, but weak coffee. If you just light a light flavor, this is nice. I prefer a medium to strong brew, but I really liked the flavor.Vanilla Dream - tasty, but weak coffee. If you just like a light flavor, this is is nice. I prefer a medium to strong brew, but I really liked the flavor. For the Choconut and the Vanilla Dream, I suggest to cut the water down to the 4 oz cup to make this a bit more bold of a flavor - unless you like very light flavor.I was given this product in return for an honest review.

Strong Coffee Choices for the Keurig

The first thing that struck me about the Java Factory Variety Pack was the unusual names for each flavor. What fun! Upon closer examination I realized that many of the flavors promised to be extra strong coffee. Uh-oh! I am not a huge fan of strong coffee but for my son, the stronger, the better. So I enlisted him to help me sample the various offerings. The first one he tried was DaBomb, the one that was labeled "double caffeinated". He said it had what seemed to be a highly artificial taste that was similar to many flavored coffees. After drinking it, he soon went to sleep and slept for several hours. No caffeine buzz for him! He was also not crazy about Dark and Handsome but said that Waky Waky is very good. He and I both liked the Choco Nut. Although it is a flavored coffee, it does not have the heavy artificial flavor that has me pretty much avoiding flavored coffee these days. I drank a cup late afternoon and was unable to sleep that night before 4 a.m. Not sure if it was the coffee but have wondered if it was the culprit. So we have mixed feelings about the Java Factory coffee. We liked some but others not so much. The k-cups worked well in my Keurig and fit perfectly in my storage drawer. This might be a good choice for those who like their coffee strong.

Variety Pack: Great tasting coffee!!

Dark & Handsome; The coffee has a very bold taste. Normally will do a medium cup of coffee with the keurig, but we can do a large and it does not have a weak taste. There is a slight caramel flavor, but not too noticeable, since flavored creamer is used.Wakey Wakey; Best to brew this coffee on small or medium cup in the Keurig. There is a very light taste to it, which was slightly odd since this is considered "morning coffee.” Normally, you would want a boost in the morning. It has a great taste and was not bitter at all.Vanilla Dream; Not a flavored coffee drinker, but this one was not too bad at all. It's light, tastes like a dessert and there was no bitterness. Great 'after dinner' coffee.Smooth Caffeinator; The "bold yet mild" description fits perfectly. Out of all of them, this was the favorite one. It's mild, smooth and has a great flavor.Da Bomb; This coffee is maybe a bit too strong. Would be a great afternoon pick-me-up coffee. It is slightly overpowering -- it is not terrible, but not one I would go and purchase again. The designs on the boxes are vibrant and fun colored, but the quality of the box itself is very low. When you open them, it immediately starts falling apart. The Java Factory Roaster K-cups are priced reasonably. Would definitely recommend.*I was sent the Java Factory Roasters K-Cups in exchange for my honest opinion. All the opinions expressed here are my own.*
