I have long hair and I have mixed feelings about this product. The results are not like a salon job (though admittedly, I've never been good at doing my own hair). I don't get any fancy styling or volumizing. Quite the opposite...it makes my hair very straight and sleek, which I like. I agree that no flat iron is necessary, though I might use one if I want it to look perfect. The major con is that it's so sleek, it almost immediately starts to look a bit greasy, like it needs to be washed again, especially the top/back of my head. If you wash your hair often it's not a problem. But I have dry hair and color so try to only wash once a week to slow the fading. So for me, it's not a perfect tool, but I can see why people rave about it. I may just end up using it for special occasions.

The brush is great at drying, but Im not sure what I could be doing wrong that my hair just comes out gigantic and frizzy. I have just below the shoulder length hair. My hair is VERY thick, and trying to separate each strand didnt help at all. It dried my hair in half the time than a normal blow dryer, so that was awesome! But I still have to go over my hair with my straightener, which is exactly what I didn’t want. I don’t think I would buy this again, simply because it leaves my hair in practically the same shape if I were to dry it myself with a normal blow dryer

I heard great things about this, so I decided to give it a shot. Unfortunately as I suspected, my dense hair makes this process longer to dry and style it. However I will say that if you’re going to a special event and have extra time to do your hair, then this might be good for special occasions. But for my daily routine, I’m going to stick with using my large barrel ceramic tourmaline brush and Elchim hair dryer. They dry my hair much more quickly with similar results. If you’re able to invest in a nice hair dryer and a $20 round barrel brush, it will make all the difference and save you a lot of time.

I have thick curly hair and after reading all the wonderful reviews I was really excited to try this dryer. It dried most of my hair quickly but it is hard to get to your roots, the high setting gets really hot and it left me with fly aways/frizz. I thought I was using it incorrectly so I took it with me to my hair appt. My stylist used it and had the same opinion. Her notes: because the air comes out all around the brush you cannot direct the airflow downward, which is what causes the flyaways. The heat isn't an issue as long as you use heat protection and keep the brush moving. The low setting doesn't produce enough air to dry your hair quickly. She had to use a separate dryer to dry my roots first. She also noted that it was pretty loud. Conclusion, I will be returning this item. I could deal with a few fly aways by using a flat iron but having to use a separate dyer for my roots defeats the purpose of having this dyer. I do think this would work well for people with thin/fine hair.

I think this hair dryer and volumizer Is a great idea, however; not for my hair. My hair is very fine so I dry it on low ( per instructions). My hair still came out very frizzy and I had to use a straight iron anyway. I do like the fact that it dries my hair very quickly, just not smoothly. Decided to keep just because it dries my hair faster even though I still need to use my flat iron.

I was excited to try this popular and highly rated item but it just didn't work for me. I didn't seem to be able to dry the hair close to the scalp which gave an awkward look to my hair once it was dry. The design is clever and the dryer is lightweight.

I really love this hairdryer but it hasn't even been a year and it has stopped working. The dryer only blows cool air, and the air pressure is extremely low. When working, this dryer is the best one I've used.

I liked this product, but it’s only lasted about 9 months. I don’t dry my hair everyday with the dryer....maybe once a week, so it’s def not worth the price. I’ll prob repurchase another and try one more time.

I LOVE this product but it died on me less than a year in. I didn’t use it very often, maybe once a week. I usually let my hair air dry but will use this tool when I want a more polished look right away. I’ll probably purchase again because it works well & is a good price. Just annoying that it kicked the bucket so soon

I had such high hopes for this... to say the least, it did not give me volume and honestly I did not know how to use it too well.
