I researched this dryer before buying, and ignored the few lower ratings because it had an overwhelming amount of 5 star reviews. But hear me out. 1) This dryer has an unbelieve high pitch. It's not consistent, but most of the time it's there. I had to wear ear plugs to dry my hair - and im not one of those who have super sensitive hearing. 2) I used this thing a handful of times a month, if that. And it recently died on me! I smelled the infamous burning smell after using it for maybe about 3 minutes, then it just shut off. I waited a few days to try it again, and it wouldn't turn on. So to the trash it went. I did more research and saw these 2 things were VERY common and there's not much luck with getting Revlon to replace it. I enjoyed it (with earplugs) while it worked, but I would never buy again.

Gave out within 6 months, using it only 1x a week. Works well, was easy to use, but got very hot on the handle and the bristles are smashed and melted. Then it started making a high pitch screeching noise and now won’t turn on.

Had this for just at a year and it broke.

I’ve had this brush for maybe 2 weeks now and it has kind of fried my hair. I have split ends to the top of my head now. I have fine hair the brush works well drying it quickly etc but it has left my hair a heat damaged mess. I’ve used it maybe 5 times. I used 3 different heat protectants trying to make this work and I am so disappointed with the product. Plus, it was $60 and not on sale so I definitely feel as though it’s not worth it.

I bought this in store at the Burbank location. I used it later that night and it was brand new out of the box, but within minutes of light use, the top piece just fell off, along with the metal plate underneath it. Super disappointing.

This new style doesn't work good for my long fine hair. It gets tangled in it every time. I hate it. The old style was round, had all regular bristles and a release button so you could wind your hair then release when you were done with that section. My hair never got tangled in it and I loved it. It actually added much needed volume to my hair. It also had more settings for heat and air. I can't even start to wind my hair on this new version. It's worthless.

Works great but broke within a year

Just started using this and it worked l great until it started getting SO hot and smelled like it was going to explode. Even if I use it on “low” for a few seconds it does this now. Do not recommend.

Wasn’t a fan, it’s quite large and heavy

It gets dangerously hot. The fan it’s not working properly. I’m afraid to use it
