I have had this well over a year. I use it less and less, and honestly need to throw it out. I will say it is easy to use. For the most part my hair looks good after using it. I have thick hair, but my strands are fine. Its long, to the middle of my back, and naturally wavy. This does smooth it, and shape it. It is much slower than a regular blow dryer, but more controlled. The problem is, it rips out your hair. The teal cap at the end meets the bristled area by fitting over it. So as you turn the brush to run it down the hair and smooth it, the hair gets caught it the lip. This happens every time. It happens more with more usage. I don't know if the hair caught in there has caused more of a gap, or if the heat is the cause. Last time I used it, it ripped the front of my hair, at the hairline. I will never buy one with this design again (sadly they are all like this).

If your one and only concern is quickly drying your hair, this will work. However, if you’d also like to control frizz, style your hair, and protect it from heat damage you should avoid this hot air brush. Even using the low setting and finishing each section with a long shot of cool air, my hair ends up super frizzy when I use this tool. I generally only blow dry my hair when I’m going out and really want it to look nice. This product makes that impossible. What’s more, after drying my hair with this I still have to style it with a proper blow dryer and brush, curling iron, or flat iron. Drying is done in about a third the amount of time, but I don’t save that much time over regular blow drying since the job isn’t done once my hair is dry with this. Other cons: the handle is so thick that holding it hurts my wrist. And the dial on the bottom to adjust the setting is inconvenient and not intuitive. I always turn it up when I’m trying to turn it down or off. Annoying. I’m really glad I got this during a Black Friday sale because if I had paid any more than twenty-two dollars for it I would feel ripped off. TL;DR: Short cuts don’t work and neither does this. Don’t waste your time or money.

I Loved It But It Burnt Out
Dee
I've owned my brush for about 2 years. This morning I was styling my hair as usual when the dryer started sparking and releasing black smoke. Before I could react and remove my hair from the brush, it had caught fire! Full on fire! Where the cord and brush handle meet to be specific. Luckily I was working on a smaller section on hair towards the front of my face that I was able to release the hair and drop it into the sink to put the fire out. Overall I loved this product before today. I've bought plenty of hair styling products from Revlon, some that I've had for 5+ years. But I will definitely not be replacing this item.

Dryer stopped getting hot. Just blows cool hair. Now worthless.

Package was open and torn when I received it

Dries hair quickly, but that’s about it. WAAAY too hot even on the lowest setting. Sucked so much moisture out of my hair, even after using heat protectant, that it left my hair super puffy and frizzy. Honestly just save your money and get the Amika Hair 2.0 blow dry brush. Waay better and leaves your hair silky, smooth, and soft. Pass on this…your hair will thank you.

This product was great until it stopped working after 5 months! It turns on and it’s loud as heck but no air goes through the brush.

This brush dryer gets super hot to the point it will burn your hand if you touch the wrong part and my hair has been breaking off because of it. The room actually gets smoky and smells like burnt hair after I have used it. I have to toss this. The high setting is far too hot and the low setting is too low to the point where it’d take me an hour to blow dry my hair.
