I saw the reviews that said back was low, but I am about as short as adult humans come so I didn't pay them much heed. I should have. The back height of this is way too short, no leaning back unless you're eight. The screw holes needed to be worked a lot because they weren't machined properly, and yes the cushion is super thin. I knew to expect that so it doesn't bug me. This was a budget purchase and it's going to be too much of a pain to take it apart to return it but I wouldn't have chosen it if I could go back in time. We're going to look for some extra pillows for at least a bit more lumbar support. I'm pretty disappointed.

It was really hard to put together, the holes didn’t line up very well. The whole set is smaller then I thought and the back is really low so it does not feel good to lie back and relax. Wish I would have just saved my money and bought something more comfortable.

I'm absolutely astonished at how poorly machined these pieces were. The manufacturers hint at this with the "tip" that the screws shouldn't be tightened until they're all in place, but there was absolutely no way that all of the screws could have lined up simultaneously. I ended up just having to skip a couple, hopefully it all doesn't collapse upon me. The holes were also not correctly sized for the screws, some being quite loose and others requiring a ton of torque to thread in. I don't see a lot of reviews talking about this, so perhaps I just got very unlucky, but this was a problem with every piece in the set that I ordered, not just one. It's a shame because it does look nice once all assembled, and of course the price is good for the appearance/presumed durability. I have other furniture made of the same material and it endures the elements wonderfully. But if I could rewind time, I would pay more rather than deal with the horrible assembly process.
