This is not a "pretty" jacket like I thought it would be. I'm referring to the black one. It's the same level as a sweatshirt. It is EXTREMELY soft and comfortable. Just wasn't quite what I was looking for.

The jacket does not completely wrap around if you have a large middle section. Order a size larger. The arms are not long but I will keep this because it fits more like a jacket than a blanket. I order another brand that looked awful on and this jacket looks so much better. The purple brown color is awesome.

I bought this for my mom as she is transitioning from Florida to winter w/o having enough warm clothes (she also likes to layer so she can pull off if too warm indoors). I got it on sale expecting she could wear around home, but she really likes it & has worn it out in public. My two cent suggestion would be to add a belt or buttons (gapes open if not being held or safety pinned), & she struggles a little getting it lined up & not inside out w/armholes & draping); she now has interior top label marked so she can start from there, but overall good price, very soft (everyone wants to hug her), & the "glitter" is not gaudy at all, & the brown is more neutral than I expected. Would recommend.

Great item....wish the sleeve length was longer

This is a quality product, equivalent or better for the price. I washed it before wearing it in 160 degree hot water on hard cycle with detergent and softener together at the same time then dried it on colors/medium for 50 minutes to get all the new fabric shed out. It shed slightly until the second wash the same way and hasn't shed at all, not even tiny bits at all. Nothing coming apart. The cuffs want to pill just a little when wearing it but I pick them as they apear and it's no trouble. I added a baby snaps to each of the cuffs between where my thumb and hands are to make a fingerless glove instead of cutting a thumb hole in the cuff. This is possible because I ordered 2 sizes up for a longer more reaxed fit and larger hood, just like the picture, it was the right decision for me. It is thicker than a typical sweater, more like a light jacket (thick as a plush throw) so I'll need a summer sweater. This sweater is NOT SHERPA PLUSH... NOT LUXURY VELVETY PLUSH, but it is Very Soft to the touch despite it's NAPPY appearance. I can't agree with other reviews that say they want to wear it all day... it's very nice but not SHERPA. It IS EXACTLY the same inside as out... soft and feels very comforting. I'm not crazy for NAPPY lamby looking street wear but I like and enjoy it's soft, plumpiness. Some have said it looks like a house robe... No, not pajama or robe, it is street worthy, just comfy-casusual... to the store, fast food places, bank, a matinee, etc., not so much out to dinner or date unless you could pull it together with a pretty scarf or trendy broach maybe... the complimentary clothing choice to take it up a notch... maybe suede pumps or knit skirt. I'll probably add some reinforced baby snaps to keep it closed since it has no buttons or zipper. Hey, the pockets are awesome deep, nothing gonna fall out, big phone or wallet fits... even a pickpocket's hand... Get this sweater. You'll wanna keep it. I RECOMMEND THIS SWEATER FOR EVERY DAY CASUAL WEAR... IF YOU LIKE IT AS A HOUSE ROBE, BUY A SECOND FOR STREET WEAR AND TREAT IT NICER.

I was afraid small would be too small but it was perfect. Had I purchased a medium UT would have been WAY too big. Super soft....kinds surprised there wasn't a zipper...more like a robe but still amazing
