Pencils stay put!!! Each pencil always in the same place. So organized: grouped by categories, and in prism order, or shading from light to dark. No searching thru a box or jar. No spills. I got two with 48 slots each. Not too long to use on lap. I lay one over the other, with the underneath one showing just an inch of the pencils, so I can see all the colors at the same time. When done, I roll them up together.

Well stitched. Elastic pencil loops are tight but not too tight. My pre-teen daughter saw it and coveted it for her markers. Buying a second one.

Got this for my tween daughter and she loves it. It's good quality and will hold up well, and is easy to roll up & tie shut. I bought the black one & it looks great -- like something a serious artist would use. If it had 2 more slots, it would perfectly fit a pack of 50 colored pencils -- but there's a larger spot at one end that could hold a sharpener or eraser, and we just stuck the last two pencils in there.
