It's a very nice hat. It's adjustable and has a nice ventilation panel in front. I think the "ice cap" is a bit misleading in that it doesn't seem to have any cool via evaporation that I can tell. I would buy it again though because it's an excellent hat in warm weather.

wife loves it

Got this for the hubby who works outside. Once he got past the "it looks like a cowboy hat" he liked it. Works so well he wears all of the time, even when not at work. Stands up well to washing, too. I've thrown in the wash a lot, but hang dry.

Product fits well and no complaints as to quality of materials and construction. As for its ability to cool you, well, that is far shy of expectations! Not bad for the hour or so it's worn after soaking with water but dries rather quickly in the hot sun. Is only reason not a 5 star rating.

I have a semi-large head, hats usually are too snug for me. Even though this hat has an adjustable drawstring around the crown to tighten it, the hat is a bit too deep/tall. It looks goofy if I sit it above my ears like I would with other hats, so I end up having to put it down over my ears. Still very comfortable and lightweight, I wear it every day working out on a farm.

Good protection from hot Arizona weather.

This is not a super cool Indiana Jones hat... but my poor pale husband was always frying in the sun. This definitely gets the job done protecting him. He's got a lot of use out of it hiking the Grand Canyon and Zion. So glad we bought it. He can roll it up and stow it in his backpack when not in use. Good product with a good price and good practicality. Not particularly glamorous. But who wants a sunburn?

Snug fit, but it is stretching out with repeated use.
