I have water with heavy lime so I have to change my shower head every 8-9 months. I saw this one and it is superb. I will buy it again for sure

All of the pieces are made of plastic,nothing metal,the head is an average shower head size and the water pressure is the same as my regular. I just installed it yesterday and I'll wait how long it lasts.

Love the pressure and pressure choices. Construction is plastic, fragile. Questionable longevity.

We live in the Maritimes and have iron rich water. Even with a water conditioner we go through a higher than average number of shower heads. We normally buy them at a big box store for the same price as this one and they're okay. But looking at this one and seeing the pressure promises, I had to try it. We're on a well so good water pressure is something that only happens in my dreams.The shower head arrived and I was kind of surprised, pleased, to see that it was larger than I expected and larger than all our old ones. It came complete with the plumbers tape (which is garbage by the way). It felt like decent quality, comparable to our old ones, and installed alright with no leaks. As I said though, the tape is garbage.I noticed when I installed it and my spouse noticed right away after it was installed, that it sits high. When we put our shower in I raised the showerhead up a few extra inches because I'm tall. My spouse isn't but they always managed without complaints or issues. With this showerhead adding a few more inches, I was expecting problems but hoped for the best.My spouse had the first shower. Afterward they said three things - first, it's awesome, second, there are a couple of settings on it where you don't even need soap because the force of the water will sandblast the dirt off and third, remind them to duck when they place it back in the cradle after taking it down to use if the water is still on. Apparently they're the exact wrong height and got a face full of water during that part. Nothing a little scream didn't deal with and according to them, operator error, nothing to downrate it over.My experience was much the same, minus the water in the face. It made for truly enjoyable shower. It's been a while since we had that kind of water pressure or since I've had a nice relaxing shower experience and I don't plan on going back to the old ones.This is an excellent showerhead for the money. It's everything it claims to be and more. I'm happy to give it 5 stars (but you might want to have your own plumbers tape handy).
