Extremely sturdy. Very easy to hold and slide the blade in and out. The blade has various depths so you can avoid hurting what is in the box.

As soon as I took it out of the box I knew it was well made by the weight .Very comfortable in your hand .Also you can adjust the length the blade extends from about 1/8 - to 3/4 inch . This is handy when opening a cardboard box so you don't cut the contents

My first one purchased over 20 years ago walked off so I went straight to Amazon and found this one to replace it. Delighted with this and the ease of use for my 74 year old hand is awesome for cutting down all of the delivery boxes and cartons. Cuts through everything like butter, so I always keep it retracted when I finish my projects. If this one disappears, I'll be back to get the same one again. Enjoy!

Excellent product! Handle ensures good grip and design is safety friendly. We are seniors and have a lot delivered. This makes it easier to open and control the box debris.

I should have ordered this awhile ago. Very comfortable and solid. Comes with extra blades and cuts with minimum effort.
