We thought it would be nice and it worked for a little bit, had no needs for assembly, but ultimately we found it was made with either cheap plastics or bad production quality. It weighs nearly nothing and has a good bottom grip, they angles are a bit odd and leave your wrist needed to be too high. The phone stand breaks very easily.

The phone stand did not last long but with what I paid I'm still using it. Always have to be careful with it because of the plastic material.

I really don't care for it. I just wanted something to lift up my laptop, but this wasn't what I needed.

So, this product does exactly what it's supposed to do. It holds up my laptop well, and has made working from home a lot more pleasant. (Along with a new chair and second monitor.) I had no issues with it until I had to make space for the external screen.I moved the laptop stand to find black "scuff" marks all over my beige desk. I wasn't too upset about that, because it's old and I'd just purchased a new one. However, the one that's coming is... white. And the marks are surely going to show up on there if I use this stand. (The marks are coming from the traction pads, I believe.) They don't come off when I run a finger over them, but might go away if I went at it with some wipes or a cleaning agent.I can't complain about the price or the overall function of the product, but this defect is a bit disappointing. I can't buy another stand at the moment, so I'll just have to retrofit some stickers over them or something. If you've got a desk with a dark surface, this may not be a huge issue. However, if you have lighter colors (oak, beige, etc.) the stand might give you the same issue.

I wanted to like this so much since the price was reasonable but it looks like the bottom half that holds the laptop from sliding off could be more secure. I sometimes put my laptop on something high so I can stand. Feels like an accident is possible and depending on the adjusted height, that possibility increases. There could be more of a bottom lip to assure safety. Otherwise, everything else is simple to adjust for height and such. I guess if you are sitting at a desk there's less risk of damage but if there's height to your computer station, it's something to consider. My feedback is the lip needs to be bigger or more of a C shape to lock it in.

I'll start off by saying it is not a bad choice for the money. it is rugged, sturdy, and reliably holds your laptop in place. However, many of the "features are unnecessary and/or often take away from the product. The "X" shape takes up much more of the bottom than it needs to, restricting airflow, prioritizing form over function despite the fact that the form is something you will barely ever see. The rubber stoppers underneath came up almost immediately. I am fairly sure they use a heat-based glue, which is a poor choice considering the function, albeit easily rectified with your own application of superglue. The feet in front add to the stability but take away from the ergonomics a bit, considering they are very sharp pieces of plastic that dig into your wrists as you are typing. Not only that but the feet are about the hardest part to deploy properly, requiring fingernails or the like to even get a grip to pull them up. The last part is the "cell-phone holder". Considering the location, jutting out from a little behind the front of the stand, it makes it nearly impossible to use your phone in portrait mode if you have any decent sized laptop unless you put the phone as far left as you can and your laptop almost unstably as far right as you can. even in landscape, your laptop will cover a good portion of the screen. Also, because it would stop once you brought it to 90 degrees, it almost always felt like your phone was facing too much away from me to be more useful than having its own dedicated stand. The last thing I could mention is the base is way bigger than it needs to be, causing this to take up more desk space than your laptop would by itself. Since it doesn't allow tremendous airflow, why not just settle with it on your desk at this point?

THE GOOD: The product mostly works well for its intended use. No complaints so far on its actual ability to securely hold my laptop, and the angle options are good. The construction also feels decently solid. The mechanism for holding the laptop in place seems reliable, and I’m not worried that it will ever fall or slip.THE BAD: My first problem lies with the rotating base on the bottom of this product. The ability to spin it around smoothly is a nice little added feature, but not something I really cared about. The issue, however, is that it makes the stand not sit flat on my desk. So when I put even a little bit of pressure on either side, it rocks back and forth in an extremely annoying way. My other major complaint is the terrible placement of the phone holder. The phone is displayed quite far behind and below the laptop. If this wasn’t enough, when I’m using the laptop’s USB port on the left (as I always am with my USB mouse), it completely blocks the phone’s screen. My first picture shows this (HP Elitebook 14” shown in picture, but it also happens with my Acer Aspire 15.6”).BOTTOM LINE: The product mostly works well for its main intended use. If you’ve read this review and don’t think you’d be bothered by the stability issue or the phone holder’s placement, then go ahead and buy it. From my research, the price for this one is good compared to others with similar sturdiness. But in my case, I wish I did a little more research (or spent a little more), because the problems I listed are hard to ignore.

Five stars for nice design. One star for oversight design of front lip...which too short to hold a Toshiba Tecra A50. The laptop slides right off. The worst part of this return is the new Amazon bar code return system. Instead of just being able to print out a label, we have to print out the bar code and now must stand in line instead of just quickly handing the return over the counter at our small town (3500 people) UPS depot. UPS is open 12-3 every day, but sometimes they're not open for whatever reason. The USPS is a much better choice as they are open from 9-4. Then the outgoing is picked up by UPS. Amazon: please continue to provide the option of a label.

I didn’t pay this feature any mind when ordered it, didn’t hit me until I received it and started using it.

I was looking for a laptop riser to replace an older Coolermaster U3 Plus. The silicone feet have come off of the U3 Plus and it is a requirement for me because I work on a ship (which moves at sea) and thus stability is high on my requirements for a good laptop stand... As well as airflow.I have found that the 5.5" minimum is accurate, and is too high for my needs. I have also found that 5.5 inches of raise is rather significant and that it will be a far less natural ergonomic position for folks who do use this riser with the intentions of data entry. The turntable is very smooth and the overall unit is light... But I feel the turntable introduces a fatal flaw... It wobbles. A very gentle keystroke makes the entire unit shake ever so slightly, and more rigorous typing, such as this review, makes the entire screen jerk back and forth. It's not that the unit is unstable, but the unit sitting upon the turntable has zero shock absorption capability. For even light-gaming this is a no-go for me, as the screen moves with every keyboard stroke. This stand is novel in it's design and aesthetic. The phone holder is useful and functional, even if only slightly. A little hole in the bottom of the phone holder would do wonders to charge your phone while it is in the holder. My AW15 r1 is currently on the stand, directly adjacent to my Panasonic Toughbook CF-53 which is flat on the table... And typing on my toughbook makes my AW15 rock back and forth with every keystroke despite being on a very sturdy desk. The laptops are about 2 inches apart and are not touching in any way. I am worried this stand will not tolerate moderate sea states, and thus I will likely be sending it back. Someone using it in a more stable environment, for gamepad gaming or movie watching will likely get better results.
