It was a bit difficult to install, but knew it would be so was prepared. It replaced another key entry lock that was over 9 years old (started to go bad and got tired of fooling with it). All I have to say is this lock's fantastic. Like the light, especially at night (last lock just had glow in the dark keys but would never get enough sun light to work). Very consistent open and close function as well (last one I had never really had that). Pretty happy with my purchase overall. Bought the brass one since it matches what I already had (thus the door) better. Few dollars more but no regrets. Only question I have is how long is the battery life? Haven't had this lock long enough to experience that. It has worked quite well in colder that Freezing weather though (so happy with that too). :)

Was easy to install but difficult to program, better explanation for program is required

I like how easy it was to install and program. It’s a simple coded deadbolt lock, not WiFi enabled. It makes coming and going so much easier. We can go for a walk or bike ride without carrying our keys or taking the house key off the ring and worrying about losing it. It’s also great for when my keys are in the car ignition and I have to run back inside for something. Or when we get home, and my wife really has to pee, and doesn’t have her keys, she can use the code to get inside. All first world problems but would definitely recommend 10/10.

My better half asked me to get a electronic lock for our inside garage/foyer door. We rarely use the front door because it involves unlocking the screen door as well. The unit has a very nice subdued/satiny finIsh. The smaller numbers/lettering on the keyboard are harder to read, but muscle memory helps tremendously! The lighting is adequate for low-lighting. Installation was quite easy even with the builders’ botched lock placement. Replacing the batteries takes minimal effort. One has to be sure that the door is closed tight or the lock will correctly not force itself onto the door plate.

Facil y rapido de instalar

It fit easily into a pre-drilled security screen door. I live in a rental so I'm not allowed to have locks that don't match the front and back doors. But for a temporary solution this was fabulous and I'll be using it again. It's super strong considering it only runs on four AA batteries

Lock is fantastically priced and works great,no more lost keys with the 13 year old. The negative reviews I have read seem to be install issues,if the lock is very tight it would be an alignment problem, understand that electronics can be defective but the customer service responds right away.As this is a mechanical unit that operates on its own and not manually with a key being turned it is imperative that it is lined up to perfection to allow the unit to operate as it is intended and mine does,it's not Rocket Science to install but it does take some degree of mechanical ability to install properly. One simple solution to install correctly is to read the simple instructions and if they don't make simple sense to you,you may be in over your head, get a friend with some mechanical ability to give you 15 minutes of his time to do it,as my door was already drilled correctly literally took me 7-8 minutes to install, has already withstood the test of time as the girl and her friends love playing with it,switching codes, locking each other out, cheap way for her mom to entertain them. Highly recommend this unit.

Am a "Senior Citizen." Always lock the front door when home. Bought this so that, if I ever have to call 911 for help, I can give them the "lock code" and they won't have to break the door down! Could save precious minutes. This lock was easy to install and program (follow the instructions...there are two important "cautions" in them.) Has worked without any problems for almost two months on one set of batteries. (Caveat: I recommend that you always take a key with you. If the batteries fail, you will not be able to get back in.) The keypad's "one button lock" and "night light" features are great.

This is not a “smart” lock. I knew that right up front. Having said that it works exactly as it was intended. My husband installed it within 15 minutes or so. We have several lock combinations saved so if we have to give one out to somebody we can. Then we can delete that particular combination and make another one. I love the ease with which this works. When you leave just close the door firmly and push the lock button. To unlock, simply punch in your code and then push the unlock symbol. That’s it. There is one button which provides a light when you push it and it makes all the number keys light up. We love it! Now that I know I like an electronic deadbolt, the next when I purchase will probably be a “smart“ lock so I can control it with my Amazon Alexa device.
