This is the first vacuum sealer I have ever purchased. I keep a lot of dry goods in canning jars, but wanted to see if this would work even better than just putting lid and ring on jars.I am amazed! I am waiting to see if the jars hold the seal. I expect that they will. I opened up one jar a couple of hrs after I sealed it and the vacuum release was easily heard! I will try again later to see if the seal lasts indefinitely.THANKS to Ms Vine for her great review with video!!! That video saved me from returning this device. I wasn't holding the first button down until the light lit up blue. I thought it didn't work, lol. I watched her review and quickly saw my error. I followed her video and, viole! It works great! This was a good find and it is simple and easy to use. It takes about 30 seconds or less to seal the jars. It comes with cord so it can be charged, if needed, extra lids come with and an opener to unseal the lids. Easy to store it, It is a great value for your money and good quality sealer. Read more
