Never have to replace batteries. Lasts 10 years. Easy to install.
The bracket that comes with the smoke alarm uses a standard bracket whereas the picture shows it is an all purpose bracket with more mounting options.
Went off in the middle of the night, no smoke or anything. Woke everyone up at 4am...
Don’t buy! False alarms! This and a new First Alert combo smoke and CO with ten-year batteries (as required by law now) both sounded false alarms within a few months of purchase for no reason. The older replaceable battery smoke and CO detectors I kept as backups didn’t go off. There was no dust or other explanation. Once deactivated, they can’t be reactivated and are garbage. There is no other way to get the false alarms to go off other than to deactivate them.
Gives false alarms, completely useless
Had it for less than 4 months and alarm kept going off randomly. I had no choice but to de-activate. Once de-activated, it can’t be re-used. Waste.
