Folding knife seems sturdy and great quality blade... The bonus survival knife was a great add to our hiking gear.

OK, the blade on the neck knife is only 1 5/16” of edge, 1 1/2” to the lowest point on the hilt. The handle is only 2 1/8” to the top of the hilt, overall 3 1/2”. So, is that enough? Well, look at the damage Rachel McAdams did to the neck of her foe in ‘Red Eye’ with a ball point stick pen. Look at the mortal neck wound Briseis gave to Agamemnon in the movie ‘Troy’, using a rather short dagger. So, if you’re close enough to draw this thing out of its sheath, you’re close enough to hit somebody’s jugular and save your life. Otherwise, no, don’t try it against an M-16, but far better than nothing, and, depending on the situation, this could save your life, and for no more than the cost of the folding knife alone. Unwind the cord that is attached to the sheath and set it with a square knot for a convenient necklace length; wind the rest of the cord around itself and add an overhand knot to each side, so you’re not wasting any of this really strong cord, also very useful when you need it. The blade fits into the sheath tightly and will not rattle or fall out unless you yank on it. Overall, my wife says it looks like you’re wearing a key 🔑 in its holder on a strap. And that’s part of the beauty, it’s not obvious that it’s a weapon. No, it wouldn’t confuse a metal detector, but it could confuse John Q. Public. If the cost isn’t an issue, then Amazon also sells a much longer, razor sharp neck knife, around $140. It advertises a 2 1/2” blade, 4” handle, and 6 1/2” overall. Either way, be protected and feel more confident in the world.

Awesome combo! Took this out camping, used both the folder and the neck knife with no issues - great EDC type of knife for a great price. Two knives for a great value.

An excellent all-purpose knife for every day use. Highly recommended. The Neck Knife is an added bonus. Great functionality for the outdoorsman.

I got mine for $15.99 with the Amazon deal of the day so I really can't complain much. The main folding knife is fairly decent but doesn't swing open as easy as I would like. The blade is decent but there is a slight recurve to the blade and feels pretty solid overall. I really like the neck knife and this is the main reason I bought the set. It's small and unique. Just what I was looking for.

After receiving the knives, I noticed a defect with the folding knife. I called the manufacturer, Red River Cutlery. My call was answered by a real person and I was quickly transferred to "the person who will handle it". After explaining my concern, the representative apologized for my inconvenience and said she would send a replacement immediately. The entire call took less than 5 minutes. A couple of days later, the replacement arrived via Priority Mail with another apology on the N/C shipper. I would not hesitate to buy from Red River Cutlery again! Well done!

I bought this as a birthday present for my godson who is turning nine. His whole family is rather outdoorsy and he is an avid Boy Scout. It was absolutely perfect for him and a favorite gift he said.

GREAT KNIFES! i feel the little one in my fishing bag for when or if my line gets stuck or i need to re hook my pole. the knifes look great and have a solid feel to them

Decent knife set. We own a lot of knives. I especially like the little one in this set because it still does the jobs I need it to and is very little weight to carry around the neck. Bonus they are very well sharpened.

Arrived sharp enough to cut open boxes, which is what i intended the small blade for. Works great and handy. No more struggles!
