Socks seem really well made and provide comfort and support. Medium thickness. They don't appear to pill like I've seen on other much more expensive socks (3x the price) that I've gotten from a certain outdoor retailer. Note that the socks have an "R" and "L" for the right and left socks to match your feet. I missed this in the description and maybe not critical but might be helpful to you. Happy walking!

Great socks that hug my feet but aren’t too tight and nice medium thickness. It’s hard to find women’s socks like these in brown. I wish the brown as darker but satisfied with the purchase. Will buy again in black.

Well I was not impressed when I opened the box and found the socks vacuum packed really tight. They looked like boards they were so tight. The socks are great though, once washed and folded they feel wonderful on my feet.
