The email with the download instructions and key code were simply wrong. It took way too much time on the telephone with Apple support and way too much effort searching through the Microsoft website to get anywhere. It would seem getting the instructions out in a clear and correct manner should be easy.

This was exactly the good old-fashioned style of MS Office I wanted for my new Macbook Air. I'm no tech wizard, and I found it easy to install. What you get: a box containing the product key, which is the code you'll enter after going to Microsoft's Office setup website so you can access the download. If you needed tech assistance, you'd contact Microsoft, as described on the setup website. The download took only minutes. Now I'm ready for the world on my laptop -- no subscription, no unwanted cloud-storage feature intruding at an inopportune time. To the curious: The box says this product was made in Mexico for the U.S. and Canada.

I don't like that it falsely is advertized as a CD. You have to go online and sign on to Microsoft and download office 365 to get 2019. On a positive note, the download doesn't take long 🤨
