This watch is gorgeous and has the specs that previous Fossil smartwatches were missing. An NFC chip for Android Pay, heart rate monitor, GPS and swimproofing for work outs, pin-based watch straps for compatibility with existing straps, and the perfect size for average wrists make this thing the must-have Wear OS watch. The only concern that comes to mind is the aging chip but this isn't Fossil's fault.

I purchased this watch at a Fossil store after having a Fossil Hybrid for a while. I love it. The only thing I wish it did was take phone calls from the watch. It is light weight and sleek. I have a Google Pixel 2 and the set up was quick and I had no problems. So this is a compatible smart watch for the Google.

So I did my research before I bought this smartwatch in particular, I'll list the most standout reasons: - If you have an iPhone, know that you won't be able to reply to messages with this watch. I've given myself completely over to the Googleverse and this watch pairs beautifully with my Pixel 2, letting me answer text messages with quick tap replies, the built in microphone, or a mini keyboard that comes up on the watch. Also the Google Fit integration is really nice, all my steps and workouts sync automatically. - STYLE! I love the two tone rose gold and silver case, great if you don't want to commit to rose gold everything and much classier than a plastic case. I was disappointed to see that they market the strap as a "Leather Strap with Silicone Backing", but my strap is made entirely out of silicone and makes the watch look cheaper than expected. - The battery does last all day. I put it on at 8 AM, go to work, walk to lunch with Google Maps directions on the watch, workout with Spotify playing, go to dinner and then come back home at 9PM with 10% left. - Music: I can download my Spotify playlists to the watch and listen on my bluetooth headphones/speaker. There are also play/pause volume controls on the screen when music is playing, which is very convenient. - The 40mm case is perfect for my small wrist, my biggest problem with most smartwatches on the market is that they are just too big and bulky. The Q Venture Gen 4 is not as low profile as an Apple Watch, but it comes close. All in all I'm glad I bought it. It makes life easier when my phone is in my purse or pocket, and it has all of the health tracking features I wanted. The Google Maps directions on my wrist are nice when I'm walking in the city so I don't have to have my phone in hand. With the NFC payments feature this watch can do a lot without my phone nearby. Just be wary of the all silicone strap -- It is weirdly disappointing and I expected more from a company that sells so many watches.
