First thing to check--the light may have to be reset after turning off to the strength and light temperature you want. The default setting seems to be medium warm. That's fine as a nightlight, but not if you actually want to see something. It's interesting that the setting icons are easy to see on the box, but impossible on the unit; a flashlight or string light is required. The other big issue is battery life. As others report, battery life is terrible unless it is kept plugged in, but then what good is a battery? Those is true even if you only occasionally use the light. Overall, bad battery life, inability to read the settings, having to reset the desired strength, no, not worth it.

I have had his light since August 1,2021. I had charge it twice already. I went into the kitchen to cook today and turned the light on. Within two hours it was already very dim. I only turn on the light when I am cooking and that is like three times a week for a couple of hours. I was really hoping this would be a good fit because I didn't want to have to drill holes or run a cord. I just have recharge it every time before I decide I am going to be in the kitchen for a while. I am really disappointed in this product. I guess I will have research other lights before purchasing :-(

I’m not sure why this product is so highly rated - terrible battery life. These are great for under counter lights if you want to leave them plugged in or charge them at LEAST once a day.
