Lovely design and easy to keep clean…and the detachable hopper helps keep your counter clean as you “feed” the coffee maker! Make sure to periodically use the brush to clean the path of the coffee from the grinders to the hopper. The hopper is easy to remove. Then disassemble the grinder, per the instructions (very easy and clear), and then use the brush to clean the path of the coffee from below to keep it clear.
