I use this grabber to pick up garbage outside. I live on a main street so debris seems to blow my way. So much better than bending down to pick up garbage. I really can't find anything negative about this product. I really like how it folds in half for easy storage.

the older versions of grabbers are very difficult to use if you have any weakness in your hands, so you end up dropping things rather than grabbing them
