A long time ago there was an ad for bras that said "Lifts and separates". That's exactly what these shorts do except on a man. Crotch is way too high, I'm 6-1/200 and wear a Large. Try these if you will but be ready to be disappointed.

Though these were sweat shorts. NOT. Flimsy material that will not last very long. Junk!
