This is a very well made shelf with smooth edges and a bamboo shape design. It is a light neutral color that can actually be stained in my opinion, but I like it the light wood color. Its heavy duty and goes with all decor.

Gorgeous shelf only have one suggestion for design team, can you make it to be hung “upside down” too? I am using it as an open shelf with the bar being used for hanging things off of it. I display a thin purse up top (or underside bottom) and use the bars to hang purse straps so people can close their own strap. As always, Magnolia team knocks this out of the park!

I liked this Single Rail Wall Shelf, it is of good quality, I like its neutral color, it matches the decoration of my daughter's room. I liked its design, plus it comes with screws included to hang it, the hanging hardware is on the back and looks sturdy, but I wouldn't put very heavy things on it.

The best shelf I have bought from target! Not only are they well made but they are the perfect light wood color! Chefs kiss on this one!

This item really disappointed me. The wood is super pale, almost looking unfinished, but it has that texture like it's laminated, so I doubt it is able to be painted. The item is sturdy, but its overall style to me does not fit with the Hearth & Hand line, especially the Magnolia items, which I think of as being sleek, stylish, and classy. The rail on this is like a spindle style. It's not very wide - this would need to go in a narrower area, like over a stove or in a bathroom, definitely not for holding larger items. I doubt it would even hold multiple plates that are next to each other very well. The hanging hardware is imbedded in the back of the shelf unit, and it looks fairly sturdy. Since this is totally not what I was expecting, I won't be hanging it to test that.
