I tried to like these sandals but they were uncomfortable. They are definitely cute but they were made with fashion in mind not comfort. If I was in my 20's I would have kept them but my 40+ yr old feet can no longer do cute. I need comfort and support along with my fashion. I had to return them.

I wear a size 8.5 in this type of shoe. In Birks, I always wear an 8/8.5, which is a 39 in Eu size. The first pair of Aerothotics I purchased, I went with the reviewers who said to size up. I went up to a 9, which ended up to be a size 40 in Eu. They were the white ones, and were too big and floppy. So I returned them and got an 8. They fit perfectly, so I thought I had found the right size for me. I purchased another pair in navy blue, size 8, and they are too short. I measured them up against my white ones, size 8, and they are really shorter in length. So sizing is tricky for this brand. I would rather buy Birks for a little extra money. They are always the same size!
