Installed 24 of these along my sea wall. Lights stay on all night long. It says they are metal but actually seem like a hard plastic but had the best reviews on amazon so decided to keep. will update later on the longevity of these lights ....UPDATED REVIEW --- lights are two months old and 2 were acting up, contacted seller and they sent me 4 replacements no questions asked ....no hassle

Got the down on the dock steps and so far they work great. Not super bright but the neighbors complain about any lights brighter than a match so these shouldn't get me in much trouble:-). I did have a slight problem and their customer service is phenomenal, answered emails right away. EDIT I just wanted to add that even after being flooded with salt water, these lights are still working which is more than I can say for a different batch I got from a different well known supplier. I'll get these if I need them again.

I just set these down on the back steps, straight out of the box. Didnt secure them to the concrete because...it's only 3 steps, so not a far fall if they got kicked off....They're perfect as they are, just sitting there in the edge of the steps. Great illumination. They only get about 4 hours of direct sunlight each day where I have them, and that's apparently plenty, as they are super bright for hours and hours... still bright at 3AM. These can also be used for dramatic low lighting of gardens...really a great, versatile purchase! I've only had them a few of weeks so can't speak to durability.

Looked for a waterproof alternative to dock lights that were experiencing water infiltration from rain over time. Purchased this product based on IP rating. Simple install with 2 screws. Within a week one light showed water infiltration after a heavy rain. Contacted seller who promptly replied and sent a replacement. No issues at this point. These are a new purchase so I can't attest to long term use. However I can say these lights are very well designed. Much better design than lights they replaced and at around the same price. I have every expectation they will last a long time, particularly given the ability to replace the batteries. Very pleased overall with this purchase.

The Blue lights are perfect along our driveway. We ultimately ordered 3 packages (12 lights) and placed all in the sun to charge. It rained and 3 of the lights leaked water inside. I contacted Siedinar Customer Service by email and they responded the same day. Siednar had Amazon ship a replacement box (4 lights) free of charge. I received the replacements in 2 days and all 4 work perfectly. Excellent customer service.

I purchased these lights to highlight the border of my patio at night. Almost every day since putting out we have had partly cloudy weather. It's getting dark around 8pm now and the lights come on as soon as it's mostly dark. When I get up at 5:30-6:00 am in the morning the lights are still shining as bright as they when they first came on. If you are looking for some type of bright spotlight these are not the light for you. If you are looking for a nice accent light to show off a border or for safety, you will be 100% impressed. I see no issues with battery charging, length of time on or anything else. I would completely recommend this product and have plans to purchase more as I complete my patio project.

At night, I cannot even find my own driveway sometimes, so I placed 2 by screwing them in at the asphalt near the street. The other two, I attached to timbers used to border my driveway. Like landing strip lights, I can drive up to my parking spot much easier. There my motion flood light takes over. These lights are not noticeable, unless you are looking for them, and they appear to be lasting all night long. I have run over the two in the asphalt several times, as I am sure my mailman has as well. A mounting screw came out, but the unit is unharmed.

these lights are great. used them for the driveway. Instead of drilling holes in the concrete I used Gorilla Glue Heavy Duty Construction adhesive to permanently secure to the driveway. I let the adhesive cure over night and now these things wont budge. Drive the car over them and let it rain all day and it does not matter. Will buy more again soon! Oh yea, make sure to let these charge in the sun for a full day and then take to a dark room where they turn on before you install. You must hit the ON button and make sure they are on before you secure. Otherwise if you forget, they will be stuck to the concrete.

Arrived very quick. Upon arrival I set them into direct sunlight for 3 hours then put them in the garage, turned them on and watched as 3 of the four stayed on all night. The fourth one was fine but needed more charging time. As I only needed 3, I installed those that stayed on all night. They give off a beautiful soft blue light and stay on from dusk until dawn. I mounted then on 1 foot high decorative pavers to keep cars from making u turns inside our yard (we're the first house in a developement along a long entrance). I was always having to fill in the ruts caused by vehicles turning around on the edge of our lawn. Although the pavers have been there awhile and worked fine, I just felt it was necessary to give the vehicles more warning. Neighbors are already asking me where I got them and our HOA is happy! Good solid construction (not plastic like some others I looked at) so let's see how long they last. I like that you can replace the battery. 2 thumbs up for these lights so far! Highly recommended.

The media could not be loaded. The lights have been working for about two weeks. Their light is good enough in my little back yard. So far I am very impressed and I am thinking to order another set for my front yard. But please make sure that you turn them on and let them charge in the sun for awhile before expecting a night long glow. I guess this would lower my electric bill sinificantly.
