I was looking for additional cockpit storage for my Miata, specifically to fit between the seat and center console. This one was about perfect for my needs. Another brand I tried was rigid and too wide such that in interfered with my right leg in the driving position--unsat. But this one is slim enough, can be positioned low to the edge of the seat, and is also flexible. When driving, my leg will be more to the right than in this picture, but it does not interfere with my leg. It comes with two different size dense foam wedges to hold it open and/or to provide separate compartments. The thinner wedge is what worked best for me as shown in the pics. This gap organizer is good for anything that isn't too thick...phone, wallet, etc. And it has already saved me by catching items that would have otherwise fallen in the black hole between the seat and console where items fall into, never to be seen again. It stays in place without any adhesive or velco needed, which is just as well because if you need to slide the seat up, you have to pull the organizer out, which is no problem--it pulls out and slides back into place, and held into place no problem. The description of how it fits is specific to my 2018 Miata. Your mileage may vary.

This was a perfect addition for storage. There are two to a pack, so my husband used one and I used the other. Although there is not a lot of storage it fits my needs, especially for holding Covid masks and sani wipes. My husband uses his for his glasses and work passes. The best feature is that the organizer is NOT taller than the console and does NOT sit over the seat.... thus the organizer looks like it's part of the console and also causes no interference to whoever is sitting on the seat.
