I took a risk, fearing that this product may not work as claimed. However, I was thrilled to find out my fears were unwarranted. It is, in fact, a fantastic device. It sweeps up dirt and debris from my hardwood floors with ease.The outside brushes do, indeed, move the junk into the middle to be swept up. It is actually fun to use because it is so effective. Only real drawback I can see is that it is cheaply made and may not be that durable. Time will tell, but so far, so good.
