I purchased this in October as a safety net for us. Well it caught us today. My German Shepherd has been scratching for 2 days so I decided let’s give this a try. I was adamant as it’s hard to kill a flea. Within 20 minutes my dog started vigorously scratching. So I put him in the kennel and let him go to town. After 1 hour he was scratching to the point of crying.. I felt so bad! To relieve him I bathed him in oatmeal shampoo and those freaking fleas were falling off. MOST were dead and not moving. I could not believe my eyes!! Number 1 that he was that infested and 2 that they were falling off with water running over his coat. It’s been about 5-6 hours later now and he hasn’t scratched once but sleeping peacefully!The only noticed 3 side effects. The first that he was scratching to the point of whining, which will make anyone nervous giving these treatments to our babies. The second one was panting like he ran a marathon. I did worry about him as the bath he took was wayyyyy longer than normal. The final one was drowsiness. He was really calm (he’s a 1 year old working dog he doesn’t do calm lol) for many hours even now as I’m writing this review hours later. He is alert! But just a few things to look out for.Overall, I’m happy with the product. It does come with like 6 doses which I wouldn’t recommend back to back. However if your struggling with fleas or just noticed your dog scratching more than normal this may work for you too!Ohh my dog ate it no problem with ham wrapped around it 🙂
