Very cozy lamp IF you use a dimmer with it. I bought warm white vintage style bulbs and a dimmer to make it a soft light. Otherwise, the bulb was blinding.

I love the look of the lamp and it is perfect to go in the corner for a reading light. However, the glass completely shattered out of nowhere one night while we were all sitting on the couch. So beware..
