Very good and doesn't emit too much heat while charging. Highly recommended.
The charger is quite slow, but if you charge your phone just overnight then it is the best. Magnets are quite strong and if you are using an iPhone 12 or above the MagSafe is useful else you can go for other wireless chargers as well. Another great benefit is the long almost 2 meter usbC cable.watch Tech Did It for tech reviews and more
The media could not be loaded. *****FOR THIS TO WORK WITH S22U, YOU MUST BUY A CASE THAT HAS THE MAG WIRELESS ABILITIES*****Aside from that, AMAZING, fast charges my S22U, and works with the case I purchased. Absolutely love it, strong connection, premium feel with the base and charging pad. The charging pad even has this cool like, almost rubber bottom to it!! The cord is thick, but I love it, feels more premium like. It gets a little warm, but it isn't terrible!!
Worked great for three years, then just died, wouldn't do anything for a week, on phone or ear pods, then retried it before throwing it out, an it apparently has come back to life.Strange.So, back to Five stars.
For those curious, this is a proper MagSafe certified wireless charger, meaning you get the MagSafe circle icon/sound pop up once you attach it to your iPhone. Other magnetic wireless chargers that are "MagSafe compatible" aren't actually MagSafe certified, so they're just regular wireless chargers with magnets applied. Does it a make a tangible difference? No, but it's neat to have.Note that this is capped at 7.5W charging speeds. MagSafe wireless charging tops out at 15W speeds max (like with Apple's official MagSafe charger) with a 20W power adapter, but it appears this model by Belkin doesn't support faster charging rates. On one hand, that's disappointing, but on the other... it's better since your iPhone won't get as toasty (which isn't good for your battery's health).(Remember, folks: wireless charging isn't as efficient as wired charging. You lose ~25% of the power to heat. That's why you need a 20W charger to charge at 15W wirelessly, while wired will give you the full 20W rate. It's for convenience, not speed.)Overall, I'd highly recommend this wireless charger. It's a great value, especially with the included 20W USB-C power adapter.
