I did think this item was over priced but my son loves sonic so I got it anyways. It is boring and don’t work like it says it will. You can almost never hit egg an in the right spot to defeat him using the sonic catapult and even if u do he don’t fall apart like it shows on the box. My son was not impressed.

Like many others, child played with it for a couple days and then was too frustrated that the legs and arms are hard to reset and pop out randomly. It's sitting in a pile now. Poor design for a kids toy.

U can't move the thing when it's together bc he just falls apart. I wish I would have taken this money and got my son a different toy with it since this was for Xmas. It u like ur sanity you wouldn't but it for ur kid....you would buy it for someone else who u don't likes kid ha ha

So it looks so cool but the pieces don’t stay on long enough to be played with properly.. meaning a leg falls off or an arm before you even launch sonic at him. Also have a hard time standing robotnic up to play as seen on t.v. I always have to lean him on something.

Great vibrant colors. Looks like Eggman robot. Great until fire arms and legs then arms and legs wouldn’t stay on for multiple play. Difficult for my six year grandson to replace arms and legs. I was frustrated with arms and legs thst kept falling off. Do not recommend.

One of the easiest reviews I’ve ever written due to how laughably terrible the product is. Seems more like a high school project rather than what should be a premium toy for an internationally famous brand.Here are a few notes:- The eggman’s center is impossible to hit with the cannonball sonic, even by competent adults, and should you hit the center, it does not generate enough force to complete the required effect of spinning to the next level of damage.- there is only a single cannonball sonic, meaning you have to chase the same piece after every shot.- The arms and legs do not explode off the egg man as marketed.- the arms and legs fall off easily even when the center has not been struck.- The eggman’s rocket arms travel about and inch when triggered.- The legs and arms are difficult to attach, could be designed much better while keeping the same cost.- the resetting the Eggman’s weak point by turning it is quite difficult for a child and even an adult.- The instructions are terribly written. Not a cohesive set by step process.This product is essentially defective and not a functioning toy.

It took 4 adults to try and get extremities attached and every time we place an extremity, another falls off. Unfortunately, could not return. Waste of money and disappointing for child’s birthday

This toy easily falls apart making it impossible for my seven year old grandson to enjoy. While designed to come apart, it doesn’t stay together, taking the intended design to a to frustrating and totally useless level. Never, never purchase this toy. It is useless.

Can't put the legs on. The instructions are terrible. The catapult is to hard for a 5 year old to work.

Very difficult to assemble, I bought 2 for both my grandsons, never got them assembled, not worth the hassle and price
