We purchased tiki led lights for our home and wanted these for a vacation rental we own. The appearance of these over the ones we purchased in one of the home improvement stores is significant. The color has a metallic appearance vs just plastic. The torches are much larger. We weren’t sure if they were working but they don’t turn on automatically unless it’s really dark (not just when it’s getting dark) which I would’ve preferred it to light up sooner than it does. I’m not sure if I couldn’t figure it out but from what I could tell you couldn’t turn them on to stay on.. it seemed to only work with the auto dusk/dawn on function. But all in all we really like them. They’re really nice when they’re lit and we’d definitely buy them again.

I've purchased similar lights from a few different manufacturers, these are the best so far. Pricey for plastic lights but these stand out. The top surface of the light is all solar panels. I have a different set where the panels only cover about 80% of the surface - these have more charging power. The light switch itself is sturdier that another set of lights that are the same...except a cheaper on off switch. Finally, a better looking flame than the cheaper ones, most likely more LEDs in these higher priced lights. Had these lights a couple winter months and I am happy with the length of time they are on - often 5 plus hours. Not bad in the winter with snow on the ground.

My neighbor bought this brand of solar powered yard (TomCare) lanterns over 3 years ago. I didn’t get any then because I wanted to see how long they would last in our extreme sunny and hot location. I kept the name brand in mind, because I don’t like wasting money on junk that doesn’t last. Well, 3 years later they still work, so I bought some for Christmas. I’m super thrilled because although it’s Winter and we don’t have more than 8 hours of sun a day, these little guys stay lit for over 11 - 12 hours, far beyond what they tell you to expect! They look awesome and we’ll definitely buy more, because they are that cool. I’ll update if need be, but if my neighbors experience is anything to go buy, these little lights last!

The quality is there! Lights dance at night, and they are brighter and stronger than I expected! Quality look, my neighbors thought they were real tiki's.... Height is good. My only knock- poles are not that thick and I was worried pushing them into the dirt as it felt like it would bust at any moment.... So I drove PVC pipes into the dirt and out the Tomcare lights inside.... Look great around our fountain and will likely add more next year to the backyard.

The media could not be loaded. These are high quality solar lights. I’m so glad I paid a couple extra dollars and waited a couple extra days to get the bronze colored set. They are still plastic, but they don’t look like it, they look so much classier than the black. I let them charge for two days before turning on and they have stayed on full force from sunset to sunrise. I’m so shocked they don’t get weak by morning. Also I don’t have many full sun areas in my yard, so I just have to put them where I want and they’re in shade most of the day, but they are still going strong. I figure if they start to look weak, I’ll pull them out to the one little spot of full sun in my yard for a couple days to recharge.

Every year I buy tiki touches only to not last and fall apart before the seasons up. Messy kerosene and wicks add to the cost. I bought these torches. These are the large ones and worth every penny. I love the flame, very lifelike and bright creating a warm ambience. Sturdy and solid, the unit is completely waterproof and will far outlast any other types of solar lights. I bought 2 packs of 4 that really make a statement. Also bought a stainless steel fire pit to complete my vision. Was so tired of spending $100 every summer for a fire pit that rots away and falls apart.

The media could not be loaded. I love these lights. They stay on all night, this video was taken at 6:30 in the morning and they are still going strong. One of them is even in partial shade. I did not use all of the pole parts but they can be as tall as tiki torches. This height is with 2 of 3 parts attached. They have stood up to some pretty high winds so far. I will update after I see how they do in our often extreme winter weather.

Purchased these in Fall after a lot of research on best options for solar lights with realistic flickering touch light. The extension poles were nice to set up a classic tiki torch path to our bonfire for a party. We ended up putting them out front as permanent lighting lower to the ground afterwards. They've held up very well so far, working well throughout cold temps this Winter (IL). Occasionally one will appear to not be working. If it's not due to snow covering the top solar sensor, then just push the power button on the side once and give it 24 hours to recharge. That's always worked for mine. Occasionally one will turn off for some reason but that reset method seems to do the trick consistently. I will be ordering another 1-2 sets this Spring. These lights are plastic but they don't look cheap. They really do look realistic and kinda classy. I highly recommend these!
