CHANDLER, AZ, November 29, 2016 – Matt Verbin, the CFO of a Chandler-based e-tailer Tanga.com, was honored by Financial Executive Internationals as Arizona’s CFO of the Year.
FEI has been connecting senior-level financial executives since 1931, and their annual CFO of the Year Award given is one of the most prestigious in the industry. In order to be considered, these leaders have to demonstrate outstanding performance in their roles as corporate financial stewards.
Tanga’s CFO of three years, Matt Verbin, has been chosen the CFO of the Year 2016 by the panel of judges and industry experts over dozens of skilled contenders in the Large Private Company nomination. His creative internal financing and cost savings has allowed Tanga, a completely bootstrapped company, to dramatically reduce expenses and achieve a steady growth of profits. Last year, Matt Verbin was one of the finalists of the FEI Award.
Matt Verbin’s role at Tanga goes far beyond typical CFO/COO duties. He has overseen roughly half of all company employees throughout his tenure including Finance, Accounting, Legal, HR, Operations/Fulfillment, Real Estate, Insurance and Customer Service.
