It has become apparent to me that Tanga needs to implement some means of punishment for certain actions. As an example I’ll point out Sunday’s crypto: http://www.tanga.com/puzzles/8065-8-21-2011.

Shame on Apu for bringing back that picture of the toe! I believe the mods should have the ability to temporarily change fruit icons. For a case like the above I’d suggest Apu receive the sentence of two weeks as a Potato!

Appropriate penalties could also be handed out to anyone:

• submitting a puzzle using “d’uh” to clue “the”.
• asking for salt on a difficult OWW within minutes of it posting.
