I’ve been working on solving old puzzles from before I joined the site, and I’ve run into an issue with the hypers: the order of the clues & answers is frequently changed. Of course, if I KNOW the answers then that doesn’t matter. But if I’m stuck, I usually go to the comments for salt. That becomes tricky when the salt refers to the clues by number, since the numbers have changed. I understand it’s not feasible for the staff to go back and edit the puzzles and/or comments so everything matches again (it would be insanely time-consuming), but why did they change in the first place?
