Great for pushing little one learning to ride without hurting your back. When our daughter figured out how to ride by herself we only used it once before the pedals no longer propelled the trike. Disappointed in quality and that it wasn't something she could grow into.

Bought this 6/4/14 for our grandson, for his 2nd birthday. Now that he is four, the pedaling mechanism is failing. He has to spin the pedals like mad to get them to engage. Haven't yet found parts online to fix this. The model # is 51 V. Online, Radio Flyer shows Model #53V that looks almost identical.

For the most part this trike is of descent quality, but the turning mechanism broke the first time we used it. The handle that the parent holds also turns the front wheels to steer the tricycle, but after using it for about an hour it completely broke when we made a sharp turn at a slow pace. If they fix this part and make it much more durable with heavy duty components, then this bike would be near perfect. Be careful!

I bought two of these. After the first few days of using, the handles to push the child broke on both and will not steer. Ended up not returning because my other kids love pedaling around on these things which is why I gave it more than one star. I just feel bad my youngest can’t use it like we intended.

we like it very much but the handle and steering mechanism broke within 2 month. So now as my child is still can't ride on his own and need my help pushing and steering, we can't use it anymore. So upset cause we throw away all packaging and I guess can't return or exchange. I

Like some of the other reviews, the steering handle broke on ours as well after a few months of gentle use, making it unusable for our son who can’t reach the peddles yet.

The steering broke after 1.5 years of use. I would recommend buying something else.
