My dog has his bed but I bought this for an extra comfort spot. It is under my desk and he loves it. He gathers up all his toys and keeps them there, which I think is hilarious.

We have two cats that like to bird watch out the back sliding glass window and I thought this would be perfect to keep them warm and snuggly, while they were entertained. One cat is 31" long so I bought what I thought was a little bit larger than that so he would be comfortable - but these mats are huge and nicely made. The cats love them and are now up early to bird/squirrel watching every morning. What a great deal.

We’re on #4 or #5 of these beds over the last 7 or 8 years. Our male basset hound LOVES these beds. Strangely, he likes thinner beds…these are about 1-2 inches thick with decent cushioning, and he’ll pick these any day over the 4+ inch thick beds we have. If you need some extra simple, durable beds you can toss into different parts of the house for your various dogs, these are great for the price.

Looks just like the photo. For whatever reason, my dog avoids it like the plague 😂 but hopefully she eventually warms up to it.

Aside from the fact that the item was made in China it's very nice (I didn't know this when I ordered it). It's well made and the backing is heavy duty and quite sturdy. The top is soft and the bolster padding is quite cushy. It's not flimsy by any means. I've washed it once, on gentle cycle in cold water and allowed it to air dry. It kept its shape, none of the stitching came loose nor did it effect the sturdiness of the backing. I don't use it as a crate liner, I put it on the sofa to protect the cushion where my dog likes to sleep. She's a 22lb. doxie terrier mix. It's perfect for what I need it for. For the price I was pleasantly surprised at the quality and workmanship of the item. I could have spent more, glad I didn't.
