Really happy with this watch. I was looking for another that Citizen doesn't make anymore and this seemed to be the newer version. Very nice looking watch, received several compliments and now one of my coworkers wants one. They didn't skimp on this either, even the "box" was amazing. Looks like a scuba tank that is 10 times the size of the watch. Now this is an Ecodrive watch that uses light, but in the case it was in total darkness and several days shipping. When I got the watch it was set to the exact time and date, hasn't missed a beat so must have a great reserve. Good looking, nice size, but feels smaller than it is as it is not heavy. Worn for several days, great movement. Amazing watch.

This watch is great for me. I go swimming in the summer, and have no qualms about jumping in the lake and splashing around while car washing. Good lume if it gets a lot of light. Very accurate time keeping. It is hackable and has a quickset date for convenience (for 28-29-30-day months). The only niggle is the SIZE of the date display. It's pretty small. The rear case-back is plain, unlike many of the other dive watch brands. The rubber strap is very rugged & compliant. Very good value for a 6+ month charge solar watch from an excellent company. No battery changing! The bezel 'feel' is perfect. The brushed finish is perfect on my watch. At $138, what's not to like? -RadioRich

Haven't used the watch yet for it's primary purpose of diving but so far it meets all expectations. It is a slightly oversized watch so it is appropriate for all occasions provided you are okay with a navy blue band. The display is large and easy to read except for the date which is basically useless unless held at just the right angle. The luminous hands and indexes charge up nicely if you expose them to a strong light source for several minutes and continue to glow long enough to last through an entire (night) dive but can easily be recharged with a dive light if you wish. The rotating bezel is easy to move but shaped to blend with the watch case so that it shouldn't accidentally move. Eco drive means no battery replacement which is great because previously I would have to ship out my dive watch for battery replacement which was costly and inconvenient. Hopefully that is a thing of the past.

Needing a new watch for all occasions around the ocean is what led me to purchase the BN0151-09L. Not needing a depth gauge as with a previous Aqualand, and with my having such good luck with the Eco-Drive family of watches (especially their "Atomic" timepieces) - features benefit & price all summed this up to be the perfect watch for my use case. I had initial concerns that it might be as big and heavy as my old Aqualand, thankfully it is not. The blue face and bezel make this a fantastic looking timepiece. And let's be real, are you actually going to go diving with a $9000.xx Rolex Submariner? As for me I think you know the answer!

I bought the watch for myself a few months ago, I was getting tired of my Apple watch and love dive watches. I wear it swimming, kayaking, climbing, hiking, working ... just about anything you could do and have had no problems. It keeps great time, hardly any slippage over the past few months. I was a little concerned the dive chart on the band would bug me, but it doesn't at all. Easy to read in the dark, the glow lasts until long past when I've gone to bed. I've had lots of watches over the years and this is my new favorite.

I bought the “good used” discounted watch. It was exactly as described. Good condition but used. This one appeared to have been worn a couple of times but had no damage or scratches on it. I have taken a couple of showers with it on, it hasn’t leaked with that yet. Too cold for swimming or diving right now. I set it using my iPhone and so far it is hitting the minute mark right at the same time as my iPhone, so not losing any time at all so far. It’s lighter than I was expecting, but that’s a good thing. So far so good, if anything goes pear shaped I will update my review.

I have a seiko that is really bright even during the last part of the night you can always see the dial....so when i got the Citizen that was the one comparative that i looked for asides from accuracy...the glow is a different color(lite blue) then my otro watch but this Citizen is equivalent and is powered buy the sun ...it has only been a couple of weeks but the timing is accurate enough ...it has a nice classy look without to much flash, i would recommend ...somehow the time adjuster knob unscrewed one time but has not done it again, may have been a fluke ....and water resistance is good for my needs as well....

This is a great watch! A classic diver. Solid construction, love the blue color, on the face and the band. The orange hand is great, easy to tell time. Luminescence is great. I like the offset screw-down crown, it shows it is a true diver. The band is comfortable and pliable. Also, long enough to go over dive suits. The date window could be a little larger but it is OK. This is a watch that is good for women who like larger watches as well. It will be great for diving and/or boating or for any other water sports. Or just to hang out and have a cool watch. It looks great. Buy with confidence, this is a great classic diver with a modern twist. Citizen surely does not disappoint. [As a side note, dive times are given on the band in meters (Japanese model I guess). I like that, it is different and you really want to use a more sophisticated dive table anyway or just convert quickly - approximately 3ft=1m. On the bright side, if you go to the Bahamas, for example, or any other country in the world, you will know depth in meters.] No excuse, get this great watch, you will love it!

Love the looks of this watch and you can’t beat Eco-Drive for just a bit over $100. I bought this watch for my husband for something he could wear fishing and to do other outdoor stuff but he could also wear to the office if he wanted. It is a really good size—the face is big enough but not too big and is easy to read. The band is long as others have mentioned, but not unreasonably so. It doesn’t have a long tag end that sticks out when my husband wears it. See photo. Packaging for this is very nice and makes for great gift packaging! I hope this lasts and lasts—time will tell—but it gets great marks out of the box from me and from my husband, who really likes it.

Great: watch (time), color, battery cost (none), price and lightning fast shipping! I took off the stock rubber watch band and replaced it with a stainless steel oyster type, with not rounded links, but the link edges were cut at 30 degree angles. So it looks like a custom watch band (no one else has them) that I bought here at Amazon for $15! I get so many compliments on this, now dressy, beautiful blue face and bezel dive watch with a stainless band. The band is by Hstrap and is known as the stainless steel silver watch band. I gave it four stars because the bands pin posts will only fit, not my heavy duty, stock Citizen posts; but I'll change it to a 5, if the posts supplied last a long time. Enjoy! I sure do.
