This may be the best watch buy ever, or in the world. Quality manufacturer, rugged, accurate quartz timepiece that does not need a battery because it is powered by light. 42MM case diameter but wears smaller. I got this for $90 on Amazon Prime Day. Still a good price at the current $138. I have an Omega Seamaster bought when you had to have a reliable watch ($190.00 in 1972, purchased in Switzerland) before computers, etc., that I lost and this replaces it. I am a certified diver and I checked with a number of professionals, dive shop owners, dive boat operators, etc., before buying this watch. A lot of them wear Citizen. If you are a sport diver, this will handle every excursion you take as well as more expensive watches. I would also say it makes a great gift not only for the price, but for the longevity it will provide to anyone who takes care of it. This is the second Eco-Drive I have. The first I purchased 15 years ago, and it is still going strong. One complaint, this is sold as a new watch, but it clearly had been opened by someone else. No stickers on the watch and no directions. Amazon really needs to crack down on this as I am not the only one who has encountered this. And it doesn't just happen with watches.

Excellent watch, great value for money. I had an earlier generation Citizen Eco-Drive (I think 8-9 years old) which is still working well but after years of use was starting to show its age. Citizen have improved the design/clarity of the watch face, the bezel is much also much improved. That Seiko and others have now copied the Eco-Drive solar / battery approach demonstrates to me Citizen was on the right track with this technology to replace mechanical automatics. If this wears in a similar fashion to my earlier watch I expect to glass will eventually get minor scratches etc and some nicks in bezel. That isn't something I'd expect on a high end divers watch, but they are substantially more expensive. Actually this watch cost less than it used to cost to service most high end drivers watches. For my application, general use water exposure ( no serious diving- watch is dive rated but I'm not) and I'm not hoping to impress by how much I spent on a watch, this is close to ideal

Just recieved this yesterday and love this watch. i have several Citizen Eco-Drive watches. A couple of them I have had for several years and never a problem on any of them. Love the fact that i don't fiddle with winding it or changing batteries to keep it running. These things are great. As everyone else says, "sure they are not automatic, but they are quartz and ACCURATE". They keep phenomenal time. I switch out watches everyday and it's nice not to worry about adjusting the time each day. I am not a diver but I love the looks of the watch. It's a nice subtle blue color, not too big, not too small for my normal size wrist and the big hands are nice for my aging eyes. Couldn't be happier with this Father's day gift.

I have been hunting this watch for some time. I have another Citizen's Dive watch but it is battery operated. This one is nice the crown is at 4 o'clock not 3 which while is a bit strange at first it actually makes a lot of sense. It doesn't hit the back of your hand. The numbers glow in the dark of course and they are super bright and large, making them extremely useful. It is not over-sized but good sized and not extremely heavy which with the crown being at 4 makes it very comfortable. One of my favorite watches already. For the price it is really a bargain. I got it for 150 which is really insane for a dive watch that doesn't require you to replace the battery at over 50 bucks a pop.

Bought from Amazon Warehouse listed as "Good" condition at about a 30% discount. Are you kidding? The watch was as NEW, except there was no box or instructions. The vinyl protector was still on the face and bezel. Whoever is determining the condition for Amazon's warehouse is costing them money, big time. I love the blue color; good-looking, interesting, and stands out without being outlandish like a huge chunk of blue plastic. Keeps perfect time and I see no reason why it wouldn't be water-resistant as advertised. I gotta tell ya; Amazon Warehouse rocks! I've purchased electronics from them and I've never ever had a dud. Why pay for "new in box" when you can get the identical product at such a huge discount with virtually no risk; their return policy is ironclad. But this watch. But it from Warehouse. You won't regret it.

Received this watch almost 4 weeks ago. It arrived in excellent condition and seemed to be well charged. Set the time and date according to instructions and it is maintaining accuracy to the second according to checking it with the atomic clock. Dial is easy to read, luminescence is superb. Have worn it in the pool repeatedly and water resistant as expected. Have not had it in salt water yet, but expect no surprises when I do. Purchased from Amazon during the big two day sale for $90.00. Couldn’t go wrong with a deal like that! I look for reliability and toughness in a watch, and accuracy is a must. This Citizen has met and exceeded my expectations thus far. Only downside I can find is the band is not the most comfortable I have experienced, but entirely acceptable especially at this price point. I will do a follow up review in a few months to see how it withstands daily wear. At this point, I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a daily wear tool watch. Update... I have now owned this watch just slightly over a year. It is my everyday wear piece. So far it has been absolutely reliable. I have subjected it to plenty of vibration and some pretty healthy shock with no ill effects. Accuracy is fantastic, running at about +2 seconds a month. Very solid timepiece that I highly recommend !!

Case Dia w/o crown: ~44.1mm, Crystal Dia:~31mm, Thickness:~11.65mm, Band lug width:20mm Fits fine on my 6 3/4in wrist. I LIKE IT. Nice and chunky. Satin SS finish. Easy to read. Not blingy. Quartz accuracy. Maintenance-free. The silicone strap is very comfortable, but not classy\adult enough for me. I purchased a 20mm (mostly) brushed stainless steel bracelet from AliExpr w/ straight end links for $16. I think a fully polished SS bracelet would look fine also. Genuine Citizen replacement SS bracelets are $70-$120 (no thanks). I also tried to fit a very cheap curved hollow-end Submariner-type bracelet... the curved end links did not fit the the case properly - lug length is different. The hollow end links could possibly be spread with pliers to make it fit on top of the case, but that would then be contacting the bezel and look "not classy".. I am sure a solid end link Submariner bracelet will not fit properly. Just my personal experience... I am pleased with this watch.

I've only had it a few days, and I've already gotten a bunch of compliments on this watch. I'm a big fan of Citizen divers, and this one could potentially become my new favorite. The luminescence is very bright & easy to read. The watch thickness and weight are perfect. The band is very easy to change if you want something more formal. If you want a very solid, good looking watch that will last forever & shouldn't ever need a battery change, look no further.

This watch was a celebratory purchase for myself after I completed an apprenticeship. I chose this watch because the iso4291 (divers) specs, as well as the asthetics of it. It looks much better in person than through photos. Even though it was very expensive (for me), I wear it as a beater. My career is very very hard on items, and I am constantly muddy, wet, sweaty, etc. I know the divers rating has other considerations than water resistance, and I prefer a slim analog. Two weeks in, I could not be happier with this watch. Fit and finish is excellent, and it is slimmer than most, which is nice because it doesn't get hung up. It is holding up great, no scratches on the crystal, and is fantasticly accurate. I already 0lan on purchasing again if this ever breaks down.

I’m a watch guy (there, I’ve said it). I needed a disposable watch for our ocean visit this summer (don’t want to risk my very expensive watches to saltwater), and this was my choice! I really quite like it! It delivers WELL beyond its price point, and it feels quality! Feels great on the wrist, holds time well, and easy to adjust.
