[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really wanted to love this hair tool but it just wasn’t for me. Although I like how lightweight it is since most hair tools tend to be heavy, that was a plus. It wasn’t as powerful as the Revlon blow dryer brush that I have. I also have thick hair and I felt like it didn’t smooth it out as nice as I normally like it. I also like my ends to curl in a little, as well as have some volume. It made my hair look really dry and didn’t work well on my ends. This would probably work for someone with Virgin and/or colored hair, maybe someone with not as much bleach in their hair as well. I will be passing this down to my niece that’s 9.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I own a revlon blow dryer round brush and so when I received this product, I thought they would be similar. This just blows hot/cold air and dries the hair. It does not smooth it (my hair was frizzy) and it does not leave a nice shine. There is no grip/pull from the brush which means the hair goes a little too smoothly, which does not give it the blow dried look. There is also no volume from this. Having a barrel or round shape would help in using the brush better as well as having some boar bristles. I would not purchase this product and I don’t recommend it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I heard I was receiving this styling tool, I was excited. I have the conair styling tool that I love, so I instantly thought I was going to love this just as much. I was disappointed after using it. It did absolutely nothing for my hair besides dry it. Did not style it or straighten. My blow dryer already does this. If you already have a blow dryer I wouldn’t recommend it but if you’re looking for one, this would be a great alternative.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I liked how the knot doctor made my hair feel, but it made it more frizzy than I expected. I like the blow-dry part of the machine, but i think the brush part could use some redesigning. as a person with wavy hair that is fine, the separation of strands made my hair look much worse than a regular blow-dry.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The blow dryer part isn't strong enough for my thick hair. The brush part gets very very hot on the back side of the brush. It was very easy to put together and would be great for thinner hair. I wouldn't reach for this product over my regular blow dryer. This product gives great body to your hair.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had high hopes for this dryer brush.. Hoping it would dry and straighten my hair like I like it. My hair is very fine and thin and the dryer brush took longer to dry than my regular blow dryer. I also still had to flat iron my hair. I probably will not use it again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m not a huge fan. My hair was still really frizzy & looked ugly. I wouldn’t recommend. I still had to straighten my hair

Worked well until the paint started shipping off six months later. Cheap product.

I had a round blow dry brush before that I LOVED. Broke it when I dropped it too hard and tried replacing with this cheaper option - reviews seemed good and I figured I’d save some money this way. YUCK. My hair typically needs to be touched up with a straightener after using my old one (which I’ll be buying again now), but with this my hair looks just as frizzy and fried as if I’d used an old fashioned blow dryer. Unless you have straight hair, save yourself the hassle and spend the extra money for the better one!

Stopped getting hot after about 5 uses.
