I like how it cooks but it is not suitable for transporting food because you can’t lock the lid. It only locks when it’s pressurized. The food could spill out if you grab it by the top handle.

The 1st instant pot was returned due to a defect. It was not stable. But the 2nd one I received is a used one even if I paid for a new one.

Not my favorite, I had a crockpot pressure cooker before and I liked it a million times more. Only had to to give it away because I was moving countries, now that I’m back in America decided to get this one, I regret it. It takes so long to actually get pressure and the stainless steel bowl it’s just not good, it sticks a lot o food.

I have the hardest time getting the pot clean.

Product is perfect, delivery from Target is not acceptable at all. Was not shipped in a package hiding what it is, a shipping label slapped on outside of original box and shipped. Was a Christmas present for my mom but she came home and see it sitting on the porch!

Do yourself a favor and get the IP DUO6 instead. I have had a DUO6 model for many years now and it has been a powerhouse. I got this one because I make dog food homemade and with two pressure cookers I can get it done in half the time since I make four batches at once to last a month. The biggest issue with this model is that it has problems with air leakage and often no matter what you do the lid will not seal properly. This was never a problem for me with the DUO and I am pretty sure it has to do with the pressure release being a separate piece. With the DUO there is a piece you turn to seal and release the pressure. With this one they are two separate pieces. I am in the process of returning this to IP currently because I have tried and tried to be happy with it to no avail. I got this on Black Friday for a great price which is why I tried so hard to be happy with what I got, but honestly I would pay the full price for the other model in an instant over this model.
