At first I was impressed by this light, at least mechanically. It is a heavy bugger, and quite sturdy compared to lesser torchiere lamps I've owned. Unfortunately, that's where the quality ends. The dimmer switch on the main light is only good for about 15% dimming of "dimmable" LED bulbs, and they flicker throughout its range. Worse yet, though, is that the switch died completely at only 3 months! I'm an electrical engineer and have purchased a LOT of switches in my career. I have never seen one fail so quickly. Do NOT buy this lamp. It is JUNK!

I made the mistake of ignoring the negative reviews and what happened to so many others happened to me. The poles don’t screw together, so the lamp is completely non-functional. It’s a piece of rubbish and charging almost $70 for this is highway robbery. Do not buy it. The only positive is that the returns policy is easy.

0 stars if I could. Look at all the reviews that mention the 2nd to bottom pole won’t screw in right. Bought this for my elderly parents who just moved into assisted living. It was heavy for me to lug there and then back to return. Worthless. Very disappointed and frustrated Target. Waste of time! Buyer beware.

Never been disappointed in a product like this one. Needing a floor lamp for my living room, I finally decided to buy this. Very sleek and modern. Looked great until it came time to put it together. The first and second poles wouldn’t screw in properly; wouldn’t screw all the way down and it looked crooked/leaning. Figured maybe I just bought a defected item. Went back within a couple hours and exchanged it for a new one. Went home to put it together and it’s the SAME ISSUE! Didn’t read the reviews on here before buying and only when I did after, realized it’s a manufacturing defect that almost everyone else has been experiencing as well. What a waste of time. Thank goodness I went back and Target accepted the return. My advice - take your money and buy a Sky LED lamp. You’ll save $20-30 after you take into consideration the additional $ you had to spend for bulbs for the defected lamp. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS LAMP! Target should really take this off their inventory.

Do not buy!! Read the star reviews, it doesn't fit together and is wonky. Now we have the hassle of packing it up and returning it to a store.

I really liked the look of this lamp and it was exactly what I was looking for. I saw the bad reviews about the crooked threads but decided to take a risk and hoped I got lucky. Well, it didn't work out. As many other reviews have stated, the poles have crooked threads and therefore it won't screw in properly. I'll be returning this and I don't recommend it.

I have gone through 4 of these lamps. They either stop working or came out crooked and the threading was too short on one. Do not recommend. They are very nice looking just horrible quality. Also some stores will OT honor the extended return policy of these in stores. This is threshold which is a target owned brand and even still they will give you a hard time at this store. I bought these prior to the pandemic and the last one I bought broke down today. Never again.

Lamp threads are crooked. Ended up returning the lamp. The floor model looked good, but I do not recommend purchasing.
