This kit has everything for beginners. I did buy better nail polish tho.

Very easy to apply and it looks great. Lamp when turned on for number of seconds it does cut off.

The light and all the tools work amazingly but the polish isn’t the greatest. I’m not sure if I just got a bunch of duds but I would recommend purchasing some other gel polish too just in case. The case and kit are worth it either way.

This is the first gel manicure I've ever had and preformed. It's been three days, they've not so much as chipped. I wish I'd have tried this years ago. The kit is worth it! With practice, my nails will look nicer. I'd purchase this as a starter kit for a young girl - birthday, Christmas. It would be nice to sit with them to show them how to do a very thin coat. The coverage is GOOD, even with a thin coat, but two thin coats do just fine!

Completed correctly, doing your nails is really quick and easy. The uv light seems to be automatically timed to 99 seconds and each time increment button seems to reset the timer back to 99 seconds. The light is very strong so I didn’t have an issue with the gel curing. The plastic case is larger than I pictured, not a bad thing. I love the colors! I just need to practice applying the gel evenly, as the thicker coats do come out a little rippled. Overall, I’m happy with the purchase!
