This mat feels warm to my touch, and my cat is currently enjoying a nap on it by the window. It could use some additional padding, but it is soft and warm as is.

My cats like them in this cold weather. Both are sleeping on their mats daily. The coverings are very soft and easy to clean. Haven't had them long enough to judge durability. Worth the price for added comfort for my kitties.

Our grandcats live in Denver, I recently found out one of them taught himself to turn on the heating pad. Since I was going to send them for their Christmas present I sent them early. They both like the pads, one is afraid of men and runs when his dad walks by. His mom told me that the pad made him feel secure and he just laid there when dad walked by. I would say they are well liked.
