My older cat has arthritis and so I purchased this supposedly warming bed for her. When I first removed it from the plastic wrap, it smelled terrible. The chemical smell was so strong that I had to keep it outside for a few days. When I did bring it in and place it in her favorite spot, she didn't like the smell, so she wouldn't go on it. A few days after that, she did start to sleep on it. However, it did absolutely nothing to help her. The bed itself where she slept was barely warm and so was her body. Anywhere else she sleeps is significantly warmer than this bed would get. I can see through the thin fabric that there is an aluminum layer, but it does not help generate heat/warmth for her. She is better off sleeping on the chair she has taken over, the hardwood floor, or the carpet, all of which get much warmer than this warming bed.It's cute but at $10, which is way too much for this product, you're better off buying something else.

i ordered one 3 month ago for a friend who just got a kitten. it was nice a soft and fluffy and i couldn't keep my cats from wanting to use it themselves. so i decided to order 4 for my cats. the 2nd order looks and feels nothing like the 1st one i bought. and my cats could care less about them. im seriously disappointed

The kittens barely use it. It's nice enough but doesn't attract the kittens.

If you have a skiddish cat like me don't purchase this. It's not a bad little cat bed but she didn't like the sound and crinkly feel of the bed and goes out of her way to hop over it. She prefers a soft old blanket.

Very disappointed. I thought this would be a thick soft mat, but it's quite thin and has no cushion at all. It's just a fleece mat that supposedly has some heat retaining plastic inside. I haven't unwrapped it, yet. I'm undecided on whether or not to try using it, or just donate it to one of my animal rescue charities. Not that great of a quality for the price.

I loved how soft the mat was and thought they wouldn’t be able to resist it but they had other ideas. They walked up to it but that was it. I ended up gifting it to a cat friend.

I'm sorry but the cat I purchased it for did not like it.
