The size is great--will easily accommodate two adult toms, several kittens or a nursing mama. However, none of my cats show a preference for this pad. It's self warming, so cat has to remain on it long enough for heat to begin to generate. My spoiled felines know only heated pads and won't give it time to generate warmth. It also is a synthetic fiber, which seems to repel my cats. I can spray the pad with a cat attractor to get them to investigate it, but they usually don't stay on it long enough to get any warmth from it. My cats are spoiled rotten and don't know anything except natural fibers. Maybe that's the problem.

Majorly disappointed but this mat. My cat does not like it but it’s still warm here so that may change. However, I bought it because it’s supposed to be Sherpa lined on the other side, I figured my cat could use either side if she preferred one, and it is most definitely NOT Sherpa lined. It feels almost like plastic and looks like it has grippers but no Sherpa. Not sure if I can return it but definitely not what I paid for at all.

When I first opened this I was disappointed because it looks cheaply made. I put it on my cat’s perch by the window and I would come home from work to find it laying in the hallway. Which I knew that meant she did not like it nor did she want it on her perch. I repeated this for about 4 days until I decided to try putting it on my bed next to me. The next day I found tons of the furry from the blanket on my bed. I was so disappointed that I threw it straight into the trash. I had to lint roll my bed afterwards. And yes this does make a sort of “crinkly” noise. I rated it 2 stars because it was soft but that was the only good thing to it.

I bought two of these for my cats to replace old cat mats that I've had for years. They must have been from a different brand because these mats don't heat up even after my 10-pound cat has slept on them for hours. My cat does like the color and material though but she will be cold come winter.

I bought this hoping my other cats would stop crowding in on the heating pad we have that plugs in. Not one of my other three cats would use this. Now I just put it under the original one I had.

Picture is deceiving, there should only be a picture of 1 mat as the main photo as I bought this assuming it came with 2, but only received the 1 grey mat. I was very frustrated because I ordered these for our move across country when it was cold outside and was looking forward to the connectable feature of both mats as we have 2 cats that were sharing an expandable carrier and was left with one connectable mat with nothing to connect it to ): I will say the mat itself is very soft and our cats loved it and fought over it …. But I picked this one over other similar listings, as i figured it was only a couple dollars more for 2 mats rather than a few dollars less for just 1. You’re better off buying somewhere else for cheaper for just the one mat!

This product is simply a reflective silver sunshade (the kind you'd put in your car's windshield to keep your car cool) with fabric on top and bottom, velcroed loosely shut. It does not have the sherpa backing as shown in the listing, it is a very thin fabric. Because of the structure of it, it is very slippery and my cats don't want to walk or lay on it. I also can't feel any warmth reflected from it, so it's useless.
