Got it on Christmas Eve, it stopped working 2 days later and only heats up a corner now.

The blanket worked well for all of two weeks. My husband was praising it and when I finally tried it, it was only heating up on one corner. I then read reviews and saw a bad trend. I returned the never-washed throw (thankful that Target took it back with my receipt) and did not replace it with another one, due to so many negative reviews.

I'm very disappointed. This blanket worked fine until I washed it, and now it won't turn on at all. I washed it according to the directions provided. It's too late for me to return it too. It's very wasteful for the company to produce such a cheap product that breaks even if you care for it according to their instructions.

I ordered 2 gray blankets and they sent me 2 plaid blankets. Not what I ordered at all.

It WAS super cozy. Survived 1 wash cycle but not the second. I've owned electric blankets for years. I know how to wash them. Even did this one on the hand wash cycle, but nope! Totally dead now - the power button just blinks. Research tells me that it's blinking because of an open circuit in the blanket from a damaged wire. Yikes. Loved the embedded power button for ease of use, and the velvety softness of the blanket, and Brookstone is supposed to be great, but this blanket is a flop (and it looks like this is a common experience).

I loved this blanket and it worked great…. For maybe 6 days. It heated up perfectly and kept me toasty and now the control just blinks and if I somehow get it to turn on, it just turns right back off and goes back to blinking. For the price you’d think it would be durable! Trying to find the box in all my Christmas recycling so I can return it 😞

Wrong blanket in the box, even looked used

Nice and warm...for 3 days. Stopped working for me prwtty much right away. I would turn it on and it would turn it on, and the button would just flash. I tried to unplug the power cord and plug back in, but that didn't help. I did not wash it or get it wet. It just sat on the couch and was used maybe 5 times. I really wish I would have read other people's reviews before purchasing.

Bought two of these and each one has weird issues once washed. The one I got for me no longer wants to turn on after 1 wash cycle, and when it is plugged in then power button. Just blinks continuously. I followed the directions to wash it to a T and yet it no longer wants to work. Such a waste of my hard earned money, even if it was on sale. The second one was washed and now only wants to heat up in random spots, not all over I had high hopes for these blankets, but I was apparently wrong. I would NOT waste your money on these.
