I was pleasantly surprised at how cute these giraffe costume items were and my 6 year old grandson loves them. They all fit him easily (he wears a child's size small) but could be worn by an older child, teen or even an adult. The ears are on a headband that is small enough for a child but flexible enough for an adult. The bow tie elastic fits both a child and adult and the tail (which is about 16" long) can be pinned to an adult's clothing if the elastic won't stretch long enough (it goes around the waist and I could stretch it to 20" so it should fit up to a 40" waist). These items look exactly like the picture and they are soft to the touch, too.
