Works pretty well. Wish it was a little more sturdy to hold a 10" Fire tablet, and the tightebing mechanic is not always the easiest. It tends to slip off if I attach it to anything metal. As far as construction goes, the ru bber grips seem to be falling off after about 2 months of use, but it's not a huge issue since I have started leaving it attached to the same spot. Would probably rate lower if I had to move it to different locations more frequently.

I could not use this holder with either my 7" or my 10" Fire tablets. I know that it says IPad holder, but it also says that it is Universal. The gooseneck is very difficult to adjust to my liking, and the part that grips my tablets does not do so securely. Now, if you are using the 8" Fire tablet it does pretty good. This has been the biggest disappointment that I have experienced with Aduro product. I have really enjoyed a lot of their other stuff.

Overall, decent product. The clamp is kind of a poor design. All the pressure is on one end and as you tighten it the other end starts to lift up. It isn't the most secure and I can tell the clamps are likely to break if too much pressure is applied. The neck is very sturdy, making it hard to adjust. I'm not sure if this stiffness is necessary as it still wobbles when set in a horizontal arrangement. I guess I expected it to be more stable but there's actually quite a bit of "bounce" in the wire.

The clamps are like tight jaws. As such, a struggle each time to pull apart for iPad and to pull apart to release. I lost a few nails and one time, it snapped back and my finger was caught between the clamp and iPad. Ugh bloody mess. Be careful. Also, not easy to manipulate the gooseneck you shape it to where u need. Once it’s done, it’s a struggle to re-bend. So I am basically stuck to the way I bent it the first time.

You need to realize that no articulated support is not going to move some, especially when you poke on the screen. But this one does seem to move than it really should. Otherwise build quality appears very good. I like that it doesn't use a spring clamp to hold the drive to the surface. My main problem with the device is that it said it goes down to 4 inches in width. it does not. If you have an Amazon Fire, it will only hold in landscape mode, making it impossible to get to the volume control.

Not that bad but not that great either. I bought 3 of them and 1 of them is already broken. The plastic at the bottom isnt that strong and snapped clean while tightening it to a table. I wasnt even applying much pressure. It also shakes a lot when pressing the touch pad of your tablet. I havent tried it with a phone yet. Just an Amazon Fire 7inch and a Samsung Galaxy tab 10.1. It fits both devices just fine but wobbles a LOT with the galaxy tab 10.1. If you can some how hangle it so the bottom of your tablet is touching a table or something to kind of brace it, it isnt so bad.

This is very sturdy, actually difficult to unwind initially.I use a round table and the lip of the table top, because it's curved, is not wide enough for the clamp end of this item for grip firmly. The top part of this item gripped my Ipad very firmly but the whole thing drooped because I couldn't get the base to grab the table top firmly.I would have to use a different work surface with a wide lip in order to use this item.

I didn’t really like this product because it was too thick and hard to put together. I feelLike you have to decide where you want to place this and keep it there. It take a bit of time to unscrew and remove to move it to a different location.I think it’s a big short, I would prefer if it was a big longer. Needless to say. I had to return this because it just didn’t work out for me. As I tried to disassemble it. I found myself in a tough spot. One portion was screwed on too tight and I couldn’t disassemble it to fit back into the original box.

The gooseneck was TOO TOO heavy and stiff to manipulate. The side guards used to hold the tablet in place have a one-sided expansion that is pulled open and closes so tight, I can imagine at some point the tablet's frame/screen could be damaged by the extreme pressure applied to the kindle. I brought this to support viewing my kindle fire while resting on the couch or sewing on my machine. Again, you will not believe the stiffness of adjusting the gooseneck.
