Does Not Work With Shockproof Cases

I wanted to use this stand with my rower so I could watch rowing workouts on my tablet while I rowed. Unfortunately I had to take the tablet out of its case so the clamp would fasten around it. If you have a shockproof case, you’ll have to remove the tablet from the case for it to work with this holder. This might not be a problem for some people, but it is highly inconvenient to me to have to remove my tablet from its case so it will fit on the clamp. I will be returning this holder and purchasing on that will clamp my tablet while it’s in its case.

Rather wobbly… but your tablet won’t fall off it

The table clamp is sturdy and easy to use, has foam to protect surfaces but still goes pretty tight. The clamp-thing that holds a tablet or phone is VERY strong… im almost afraid to put my iPad in it, it feels like it could snap the tablet in half if I put it in at the wrong angle. Once in, the tablet doesn’t budge… HOWEVER… the slightest nudge to the table sends the thing wobbling. The long flexible arm is very strong and stiff but I think just because of the length it does wobble.

Very difficult to adjust, doesn't move easily

This would be good if you don't need to move it after setting it up. The flexible arm is very difficult to adjust. A few of the plastic parts feel like they wouldn't hold up after time. The part that holds the phone or tablet has cutouts to allow access to buttons and charging ports, which was a great feature. I needed something that I could move around and adjust easily, this just didn't work for me but like I said, it might work if you don't need to move it after it's set up.

Super stiff and hard to move

The stability is good. But it’s really hard to move and get into a good position. Wouldn’t buy it again. Actually looking for a different one.

This item is not the ideal mount to have for a 12 inch tablet.

Since working from home in my makeshift office, I wanted to have a mount that would free up some surface space on the table I am using as a desk. The idea of having a mount that would clamp on the outside of the table and have a flexible rod that could hold the tablet in various positions was attracting. However, the weight of the tablet is more than this device can handle. When typing on the keyboard, it causes the mount to shake. It is also difficult to get it positioned in the correct spot to keep it lined up with the other monitors I use for my daily activities. Although taking up a lot of space on the table, the shoe box I was using to hold my Surface Pro was more stable for the need I have. I’m sure this mount will work fine for the kitchen while reading recipes, or for watching movies while laying in bed. But for me, I was just a little disappointed that it didn’t work the way I visioned it would have.

It’s okay.

One touch and it shakes real bad. It’s very stiff and hard to move around. For the price it works but with I could move the neck around easier.

Flexible cable very strong, but

the tablet bracket is attached to the ball socket using a very very tiny screw, like a watch screw. You need a precision screw driver to tighten it.The flexible cable is very strong making it suitable for bumpy roads if mounted in cars, but like I said the tiny screw that is holding the entire bracket to the ball socket has me worried it is only a matter of few bumps before it breaks down. I hope it holds up. Other than that it is a 5 star construction and quality.

It works.

As long as you want to only use your tablet in the landscape position, it's great!! I put my 10 inch tablet in it. It barely fit. But since I wanted it to mostly watch TikTok videos, I needed it in the portrait position. It BARELY held the tablet!!! ANY bump or jar to the holder caused it to slip some. I ended up putting a plastic "L" shaped plastic bracket on it to hold the bottom of the tablet. I tried putting some sandpaper in the jaws in the hopes that it would bite the sides a bit more. It did, but not enough. I have it attached to a hospital bed side table. It is on the SOLID. I'm not afraid of it disconnecting from the table. The rod itself is VERY strong!!!
